POPPYCOCK !! = Dinolfo On Waiving Fees

Cheryl Dinolfo

Former Monroe County Clerk & current County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo said some fees were waived for what she called "good customer service," describing the clerk's office as a business.

She further claimed the clerk's office was "competing with the Post Office and DMV" and that customers who had a "good experience" would return to do business in the future.

She says her staff had discretion to waive fees if someone returned multiple times for the same transaction or endured a long wait or implementation of a new procedure.

SCATS ~~ When was the last time any of you received free shipping or postage from the PO because you had a long wait in line? How about getting a waiver of any sort on your DMV transaction because you had to return multiple times? NEVER?? We thought so!
Dinolfo has lost touch with reality by comparing govt run offices to any real world "business."

Bello Uncovers Another Scandal In Clerk's Office

Adam Bello, the current Monroe County Clerk, uncovered another scandal involving the previous administration's oversight.

The Monroe County fee for hundreds of transactions dating back to 2008 were inappropriately waived costing taxpayers $35,000.

Bello has ordered that all waivers be halted. Records show 15 individuals in one family received waivers on passport application fees.

“Government is supposed to serve and protect taxpayers. It’s not supposed to be about special favors for a select few.” ~~ Adam Bello, Monroe County Clerk

Dirty, Rotten, Local GOP Politics

The Sheeple Respond To Robo-Call Campaign

  • Robo-call Blast Asked Voters To Cast Ballots For Nojay
  • Milne Withdraws From Consideration Calling The Process "Unethical"
  • GOP Leaders Say It Would Be "Offensive To Voters" To Choose Milne
  • Daniele Declines Consideration As Nojay's Replacement
SCATS ~~ What's "unethical" and "offensive" here is for Reilich to pretend that GOP leaders are attempting to cater to voters' wishes in light of those robo-calls made earlier this week. This was NOT an unbiased election, and the replacement's selection won't be either!

Dear Abby ...

To say we are disappointed by your recent revelations & behaviors would be understating reality. For many years, we actually believed that you were a true role model, a relative rarity among today's athletes. Over that time, you repeatedly positioned yourself as the voice of reason within the world of sports which is too often out-of-control in multiple ways. Sadly, we bought your phony image hook, line & sinker!

Of course, we know you are "only human" and as such are entitled to make mistakes. However, it has always been our position that those like you who drink & then drive have consciously chosen to BREAK THE LAW & POTENTIALLY ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF OTHERS they share the road with. Anyone who has EVER studied NYS traffic laws, taken driver's education or any written driver's test in this state is well aware of the laws regarding driving under the influence. THERE IS NO EXCUSE, EVER.

Worse yet, you waited until today to "come clean" about your lengthy history as a drug and alcohol abuser via the media. How opportunistic for you to time the release of this news just before you begin signing books in the city you used to call "home!" We couldn't expect you to gracefully admit to and apologize for the wrongs you've done and the false image you portrayed and then quietly cancel your self-promotional schedule without filling your wallet off your loyal fan base, now could we?

We're sorry, but we're not buying what you are selling any more. As they say, "Fool me once, shame on you ... "

Does Anyone Know ... ?

Anonymous said...
Scats.........not part of this thread but I heard on Lonsberry yesterday that Jack Doyle resigned as the chief fundraiser for the Monroe Republican Party. Lonsberry said he was told Doyle quite over Releich and his 6 figure salary as Chair of the party and the fact that he is doing NOTHING for it plus getting his salary as Super of Greece. I scanned the news stations for news all day yesterday but did not see it. Perhaps your sources can confirm or deny this.      9/03/2016 6:26 AM
