Reilich Returns $90,400 To Monroe County In LDC Case

From 2006 to 2013, Republican political committees received tens of thousands of dollars in donations from people and companies later connected to a criminal bid-rigging case.

According to Reilich the party received about $150,000 in donations "tainted" by connection to Lynch and others involved in the local development corporation (LDC) case.

The GOP already returned a $50,000 donation from Brooks' campaign committee out of an abundance of caution, Reilich said last week.

As much as I hate to say it we have a new "Slick Willie".

Bet a few Friends of ******** checkbooks are light tonight.

King Willie is probably praying nobody's damn kid drives a County or Town vehicle into a civilian's car for a while because cash for a replacement car might be hard to come by, even for a man pulling in 300k a year with his 3 jobs.

Will Democrats be returning their contributions too?

And the die hard Republican establishment are crapping their pants wondering why Donald Trump is going to win the Republican nomination for President! The average hard working, tax paying citizen is sick and tired of the jobs for life politicians who lie and cheat and give cushiony jobs to the well connected who in turn give thousands to their re-election campaigns. Why is Maggie Brooks being protected from the LDC illegal activity and Robotraud??????????? And so many others in the local Republican party???

As much as I hate to rub salt in your wounds, I posted here shortly after Relic was elected, you will rue the day you said nasty things about Emporer Jack and the way he ran the town and what a novice he was to Relic when it came to absolute total unchallenged control over this town. You reap what you sew! These folks are corrupt and it's our fault for allowing them to remain in positions that enable them and thennwalk away like the likes of Brooks and Relic after it hits the fan, pull a political Ponticus Pilot , wash their hands clean and move on to the next available taxpayer funded job and we continue to allow it to happen.

To 7:13AM ~~ You forgot to mention their FAILURE to do what they promised!!

To 10:47AM ~~ I have no wounds for you to tend to, but you really ought to study up on your spelling. It detracts from your message in a BIG way.

7:13 it's got nothing to do with the Republican Party both parts do the exact same thing lie cheat steal etc. democrats are no better. Only rich people really have a chance to get elected by either party at any position above local government.

Sorry to disappoint you folks, but you can’t vote people OUT of office, you can only vote people IN. Once the GRC (Greece Republican Committee) endorses a candidate, it’s all over in this town.

Who hold the leadership positions in GRC?

SCATS said...

Flip side of the same coin in this town ;)

Anonymous said...

Post 8:15pm makes a point... asked a question about GRC (Greece repub comm).

Isn’t GRC a public organization? Who heads GRC?

09:58pm

Anonymous said...

If Greece Repub Comm is so influential in Greece politics, why aren’t the leaders publicly known?

SCATS said...

To 8:28AM ~~ Welcome to Greece, where you will "discover the promise" of "closed, clubby & corrupted" politicians!

Anonymous said...

You must be new to Greece. Leaders of that group are well known with relic at the top, members of the CofC Rotary, former board members and county legislators,. A few names, Selke, Antelli, Distefano Robach Boily just to name a few

SCATS said...

To 3:51PM ~~ The thing is, you can't find a website, or document of any kind, anywhere with that info on it.

Anonymous said...

The main question; WHO anointed Reilich?

Wee Willie has been a PROTECTED boy for over 20 years.
He damn sure ain't the capstone on the pyramid.

Anonymous said...

With so much influence, seems like GRC owes some explanation for not screening candidates better and turning their back on corruption at town and county level... or be publicly outted and scorned.

I nominate SCATS to do the job... do I hear a second?

SCATS said...

To 6:01PM ~~ Maybe he did it himself??

To 7:19PM ~~ Uhhhh .... only with you beside us!

SCATS 5:44pm
I’ve done some checking... your right (why am I not surprised).

Can you post link so people can see for themselves.

Monroe County Republican Party – ABOUT tab. It lists “Town Republican Websites". List of 17 website links, “Brighton GOP” through “Webster GOP”. This list shows no link for “Greece GOP”.

So much for representation of local republicans.

SCATS said...

To 1:22PM ~~ When I Google "greece ny republican committee" I get a list of websites starting with "Monroe County Republican Party - Home" whose link is: http://www.monroegop.com/

Oddly while the Town of Greece screws people over and around on assessment, Nassau County is working on getting the system right.

Greece delivers excuses, Nassau delivers results.

Just realized the website I thought I was sending didn’t transmit.

In any case, the website you show is close... go to “about” tab. Use

http://www.monroegop.com/about

List of town GOPs is on right hand side of page. Notice "Greece GOP" is missing.

SCATS said...

To 3:49PM ~~ EXCELLENT ARTICLE!!! TY :)

To 4:13PM ~~ Please note, as political season draws near, they MIGHT create a link or a website which will once again disappear as soon as an election is held. Nobody ever said they aren't slick ;)

Post 4:13pm is right.

I tried http://www.monroegop.com/about. Right hand side of page shows photo Bill Reilich top and list 17 Town Republican Websites “Brighton GOP” through “Webster GOP” below.

No Greece GOP listed.

Yup, http://www.monroegop.com/about works... really works.

Reilich brag sheet says: March 3, 2016

Our Chairman Bill Reilich

Bill Reilich was sworn into office as Greece Town Supervisor in January, 2013. ….

On July 12, 2008, …

Bill… was selected to Chair the Small Business task force. Bill knows it is not easy for small business owners to go to the Capital to be heard so Bill has bought a bi-
partisan group of legislators to listen to there concerns. …

There it is, he BOUGHT a bi-partisan group…

To 6:15PM ~~ Actually, SCATS said it first ~~ To 3:51PM ~~ The thing is, you can't find a website, or document of any kind, anywhere with that info on it. 3/02/2016 5:44 PM

To 6:31PM ~~ Any idea what the pricetag was?

Are posts on this website saying,

AND STANDS FOR NOTHING?

Really now!

SCATS said...

To 10:01AM ~~ TY for summarizing! lol

Maggie and Republicans had LDCs at County level. Corruption did them in.
I heard Greece had 3 LDCs of their own.
Is this true?

SCATS said...

To 10:43AM ~~ Had?? That's past tense. How long ago do you mean?

Anonymous said...

I think 10:43am is close.
Reilich told Dewey Ave group Aug/2014 3 LDCs were too many/not needed (just more work for attorneys) and he was rolling back to 2.

SCATS said...

To 12:57PM ~~ What Dewey Ave. Group??

Anonymous said...

I think 12:57pm is off a little on date. Try Carol Messina-Provost (Chairwoman Dewey Corridor), Oct 2014 at Aldersgate Church.

SCATS said...

To 2:08PM ~~ Just an FYI ... that group has folded ... gone ... kaput.

george hubbard said...

I recall being at the Oct/2014 Dewey Corridor mtg... I think Supervisor mentioned 3 LDCs – Old town hall land, land rented to Distillery restaurant, and canal land transfer from Kodak to Greece.

Possible moving from 3 LDC to 2 was mentioned.

SCATS said...

To 8:35PM ~~ Aha! I didn't recall the Distillery & adjacent land was called an LDC! I had no idea the old town hall land was still in play. Interesting.

Sean Groden broke an elbow patting himself on the back for putting together a Municipal Corp to develope the old Town Hall property at 2505 W Ridge.

That is the same Sean Groden who invested his pension in the liquor vending on Maya Grady's famed Edmond FitzJohnson Ferry to Noplace. In fact, Mr Groden may be the owner of record of the liquor that is SUPPOSEDLY still being held in a bonded storage awaiting disposition due to the tax question.

SCATS said...

To 10:57PM ~~ Wow! Now there's a name from the past! Very interesting choices he made LOL

Anonymous said...

In the last two years the supervisor requested the only 2 LDC's the town had to combine into one to save paying two accountants and two lawyers. The LDC turns over around 600K annually to the town.

Anonymous said...

Thanks 2:01pm

What are the names of the LDCs?
Who controls the LDCs?
Who are the LDCs accountable to?

Anonymous said...

Jeff McCann and Kathy Ferkins used to be some of the board members. I would guess they are no longer.

SCATS said...

To 9:47PM ~~ What board are you referring to?

Anonymous said...

Unravel this ball of yarn if you can Puttitat.
http://muniproldc.org/

As I recall this was a great accomplishment of Melutis and Groden back in their time.

They hide it in plane sight right there on the Internet, and comply with all Laws pertaining to publishing notices too. Next Board meeting is 24 March.
Spend some time looking at their lovely web site while it is still up, and ask yourself how the hell the Town came to own some of the properties.

How does Munipro get to screw around for 6 months with a collapsed building on their property when any other property owner would be lucky to get 10 days?

How did Munipro get a few acres at 3224 Latta Rd, just West of the Post Office? Who are they currently swapping some of those acres with and WHY?

Munipro absorbed GEDPRO back in 2014. They actually publish the minutes of their meetings, till the computer crashes.

Interesting Paul Holohan regularly attends the meetings, wasn't Paul once Greece DPW boss, the one who moved to Brighton and then the County after repainting Greece DPW trucks?

SCATS gonna need a real big Litterbox to bury this crap.
Kirk Morris, Michelle Marini and Kathy Taylor run Munipro
Brian Marianetti, Mike Townsend, Danny Kornreich, Paul Holahan, John Dedes attend the meetings; WHY?

Here's the Certified financial report
http://muniproldc.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Budget-Report_2015-NYS-Certification1.pdf

Three Party Munchkins are playing with about $600,000 that nobody knows about every year.
WHERE is that money going?

Anonymous said...

Unhappy with your assessment?
Go here
http://gedprojects.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/GEDPRO-2011-Audited-Financial-Statements.pdf
see how the GEDPRO 501 c3 corporation owned by the Town of Greece justifys cutting the value of their property by 2 million bucks.

If they can use that story, why can't you?

SCATS said...

To 12:06AM ~~ You've brought up a topic from the past we looked into ... until it made our tail spin. Lots of connections! It's hard for us to handle more than 2-3 scandals at a time ... but we might post your comment as a BLOG soon ;)

To 12:31AM ~~ Great question!! Maybe we should all present them with a printed copy of that and ask at our next reassessment hearing :)

Heard something today that just resonated with me. These politicians laugh at our jokes, shake our hands are oh so attentive to our needs and wants, are open to our suggestions, listen to our opinions, and attend our meetings. As soon as they are elected they are barricaded behind closed doors, not available for comment, cloistered among the moneyed interests and political hangers on until the three year three month mark then it is phony smiles, handshakes all around the entire charade begins anew and, we fall for it every time. What is incredulous to me is why these folks are astounded that most of the productive people in this country are fed up, sick and tired of being used as some politicians personal ATM through assessments or any other way they can squeeze another buck out of us.
The the political nonconformists are having a field day at the national level. All of you local politicians, look in the mirror the problem ain't us it's you.

SCATS said...

To 1:11PM ~~ OMG, you've stolen an upcoming BLOG away!!!!

If you want to see CIVIL UNREST IN THE STREETS ... on a MASSIVE scale ... just watch as the "Republican elite insiders" try to snatch away a nomination from Trump AND Cruz!!! (Worse yet, let Hillary dodge all responsibility for the email & Benghazi scandals at the same time.) These insiders detest both Republican candidates, despite "the will of the people" !! Funny thing is, they've got no one to blame but themselves!! Not listening to the desires of the grassroots who elected these useless fat wallets got them what they face right now!

SCATS WILL BE LEADIING THE CHARGE!!!

"they" know you are dumb, no, make that stupid, because "they" have been slamming the same crap your way for 20++ years.

You accept being stalled getting an appointment for a meeting with "them", then you walk in unprepared, sit politely, and "they" wipe their feet on you.

See a pattern folks?
Don't matter if it's GCSD, Zoning, Planning or Assessment Review, "They" slap you around, and you take it.

Here's a HINT boys & girls, Amazon & eBay both sell very small covert solid state recorders for under 20 bucks.
Hint 2, NY is a single party consent State. That means you're in the room, you can record without telling anybody else.

RECORD & preserve these damn meetings, and then post the recordings on the Internet.
The politicians and School Administrators will first crap themselves, and then go MUTE.
EMBARRASS them into doing the job they are paid to do.
or
Keep Getting Crapped On.

Double dipping at its best! Brian Marianetti, a Town of Greece Republican, is the Town’s attorney and a County Legislator. Is everyone on the Greece Town Board double-dipping with County jobs? What happened to the days when elected officials were only working for the people, instead of party leadership? Maybe that is why Trump is doing so well; he is bucking the party.

Is this what the town needs? A strong Republican to primary Reilich? We can’t see how he can be a full-time County Chairman running hundreds of races while at the same time fulfill his obligations as a full-time supervisor. Is this why he is never at the town hall?

I see he is returning a lot of money, but when is he going to return the money he received from his campaigns? Or is that going to be another cover-up similar to the accident he covered up?
Sooner or later the truth will come out...
