Greece Town Website Is "Vapid"

Anonymous Anonymous said...
Has everyone had a chance to enjoy the new Town of Greece website? It's pretty...pretty vapid. Good luck trying to find any actual information there. Where are the agendas? Budgets? Minutes? It's nothing but pure contempt for the concept of open transparent government. But, what did we expect out of this bunch? Would you put up with that crap from the school district? How about if they just stop posting agendas and minutes and pull the budgets off the site?    10/09/2015 12:22 AM

Hey scats,
Have you tried to access Seethroughny for teacher information lately? What is happening to transparency?

To 8:25PM ~~ I just took a look. WOW!! Looks like the unions have quashed (or maybe hacked?) the info. I'd like to hear an explanation.

ANYONE?

I can't figure it out. I just tried to find a teacher and no luck. I have a call to them, I doubt I will get a response back.

To 5:55PM ~~ That website has changed and last night couldn't get anything up for anyone in Greece.

To 6:41PM ~~ The BLOG posting is about the town's site, but 8:25PM brought up an issue with a different site yesterday.

One of the topics that will be brewing up a debate at the city council meeting surrounds the idea of a coffee shop coming to the Rochester library.

That idea is up for a vote this week and the agreement would see Coffee Ventures move into the first floor of the Bausch and Lomb Public Library building to open a Starry Nites Cafe.

The space was previously occupied by Tim Hortons but that lease was terminated in August.

The City Council meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Public comment is open from 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you'd like to voice your opinion on this issue, call in and sign up to speak to council before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

If Maya Luvless gets a Library Coffee shop when Bill couldn't he's apt to order his POLEESE to invade the Library and burn books. Will Bill put up a crappy kiosk in the parking lot to sell Mocha Lattes & Ice Cream?

I thought there was a sign at Town Hall prohibiting them vape things.

Maybe that's what they do up on the second floor behind the locked doors.
