E. Rochester Interim Has What Greece Needs

Yesterday, East Rochester's  Interim Supt. Richard Stutzman rose to the occasion as he dealt with a serious school security situation that resulted in a lockdown due to a student bringing a BB gun to school.

Afterwards, he was remarkably candid and forthcoming as he and the police willingly faced media questions and parental concerns.

His approach exemplifies MUCH of what Greece Central's administration has been lacking over the years. He even ADMITTED TO MAKING A MISTAKE!

Below is a portion of what he told media after the incident:

From WHEC-TV:
District officials say once the school was placed on lockdown, parents received a robo-call informing them of the situation and a second when the lockdown was lifted. But some parents didn't get that call or answers when they came to pick up their children.
Parent Meghan Forrest says, "We get that a lot they don't seem to tell us a lot."
We took her concern to the superintendent.
Mobilia: "I understand a robo-call went out but how come parents standing outside here waiting to get their children were not informed as to what was going on?"
Stutzman: "That's something we're going to have to debrief on, but we were inside trying to secure a situation.
Mobilia: "But you don't think parents out here had the right to know what was going on?"
Stutzman: "They do and that's a mistake that I'll admit to."

SCATS ~~ CAN WE HIRE THIS MAN TO BE OUR NEXT SUPT??
