Based upon the names provided by an Athena student, TWO of the boys involved in this week's incident match the names of those also involved in the Karen Klein incident.

So happy to see that the re-engagement center has been such a HUGE success.

To 3:49PM ~~ I'm also happy to see that the three perps in this latest incident are all upstanding student athletes, too. If true, shouldn't they IMMEDIATELY LOSE ANY SUCH PRIVILEGES?

Yes they should lose those privileges! They should lose a lot more than that too. Jerks.
Are we going to see them on the news, with their parents, apologizing to the student they bullied like we saw with the bus monitor?

To 4:06PM ~~ As I recall, only 1 person apologized on the news and another sent Klein a letter. The other two did nothing that I'm aware of ...

I predict these kids will get another smack on the hand and we won't even know about it because they are likely under age 16. Maybe their parents should be performing some Community Service alongside them?

If we just had the Babs Bowl the little darlings could be properly lynched from the goal posts right in front of the rest of the pisspots of Greece Central SPORTS District.

Hell, make it a double play, lynch the so called parents too.

This town needs a good public lynching every now and again to keep people on the straight & narrow.

Who the hell is kidding who with this Reengagement Center crapola, and who is getting paid how much?

PC ain't working ya damn morons.

Go ask your grandparents how well humiliation and ass kicking worked back in the 50s before everybody went to drinking public water laced with Estrogen & the cowards who extended their Draft Deferrment by becoming teachers went UNION & took over.

Back then Gramps and Granny could read and add, and learned to do it without Google.

To 4:15PM ~~ We do NOT promote lynching of anyone!

I bet Karen Klein can even read & write in cursive!

Let me see, I have heard that one of the most vocal supporters of the stadium project was a board member during the performing arts center debacle I don't know if that is true. If this proposal passes, we will have a newish Performing arts center and, A new Stadium. Other Buildings that we actually use for the education of students left with deficiencies that should be corrected first. Students that can't read at grade level and are running amok and, an ex Police Captain in charge of our school security force who are mostly ex cops and he reportedly had to call the Police to find out if a crime may have been committed on school property. I almost forgot do we not have a Police SRO on site as well? What are we doing here folks? This just does not pass the smell test. Follow the money.

To 9:49AM ~~ Do you mean Bill Russell? He was definitely one of the committee members. In fact, of the 28 members, not a single person would have been looking for a reason not to move forward with this project. Your point about building a new stadium while letting other facilities stagnate is an excellent one.

To 10:05AM ~~ She couldn't be bothered to sign her own name as Supt. to a recent letter to Cuomo! Some person in Special Ed did so instead. Babs must spend lots on her manicures ;)

Is that the same Russell who's son went from #34 on a waiting list to Pine Brook, to sudden acceptance into Pine Brook shortly after he was elected to the school board? Or do you mean the Russell that lied to the former CARE group to gain support during his BOE campaign, only to "flip" once he was elected? Oh, maybe you mean the one that routinely struggles keeping his vehicle straight, and between the lines on our local roadways.

Either way, he sounds like a decent fellow. Definitely the kind of person our community should be listening to.
