How Many Dead People Will Vote March 24th?

A family friend shared with me the fact she received a postcard from Greece Central addressed "To Registered Voters at : ... " then her address.

Interestingly, she is NOT a US citizen! Even more interesting is that she has been in the home she bought for almost 10 years! She is unmarried and lives alone.

The point here is that the voting roster GCSD is using for this Capital Improvement Project vote is obviously many years out-of-date!

This paves a path for widespread abuse.

The dead, the unregistered, the non-residents can ALL vote on March 24th. Show us we're wrong.

How Many Dead People Will Vote March 24th?

AS MANY AS IT TAKES TO GET THESE PROJECTS APPROVED!

SCATS ; Holly molie Andy, the voting dead? I've heard of the walking dead, but this? Let me be the first one to tell you that your wrong. Before get nuts, allow me to explain.
In the first place, this is a real stretch even for you. The second and most important reason is simply this fact. They (the district) isn't smart enough to even think about it let alone know how to do it.
Now if this was a a political event like an election, the local Republicans would know how to do it. The district people just are not sophisticated enough to even try to get away with something of this magnitude if even in their dreams.

SCATS said...

Sorry Joe, but they have friends in politics who do know how to do it.

Isn't Selke a Republican with LOTS of supporters?

Yeah I guess but I think he's older than ME so add that to the equation. Stand bye for the ivory tusks to fly!

SCATS The school employees will be drumming up support most of them are liberal Democrats and they know how to have the dead vote. Just ask anyone from New York City where more people vote than are registered!

Voter fraud is so rare that the myth of it is leading to a variety of discriminatory laws being passed around the country. Let's focus on something that actually matters. How many dead people will vote March 24th? I'm betting on zero.

If the postcard is addressed

"To Registered Voters"

and if she's not a registered voter then the postcard is not for her. If no registered voters live at that address, she simply needs to toss it in the recycle bin. I'm sure one of those cards is sent to every address in the town no matter who lives there, dead or alive.

SCATS said...

To 10:48PM ~~ Sending "to every address in the town" is even more of an issue since there are several OTHER school districts Greece residents can reside in. What a HUGE waste of $$ that would be! TY for demonstrating the right hand has no knowledge of what the left hand is doing ... but then that's been suspected for a long, long time!

Anonymous said...

Complain if they don't mail anything complain if they do. People will complain they don't know where they vote if nothing is mailed, and you complain since they did mail something. Someone at that address at one time most likely did register to vote so most likely that is why one was sent there. If they never changed their address with the board of elections they would have no idea.

SCATS said...

To 14:44PM ~~ According to your line of thinking, when someone moves to another city, or even another state or country, or dies, it is THEIR JOB to notify the Board of Elections??? LMAO! That's hysterical!

It's been my understanding that if you haven't voted in 4 yrs. at your local polling place, that your name GETS DROPPED FROM THE VOTER REGISTRATION ROLLS. At that point, you are required to re-register, if you decide you want to vote again.

SCATS said...

To 9:08PM ~~ That article specifically looks at things that LAWS COULD FIX. In this case, the law is already in place. It's obviously not working.

Joe seems to be getting on in years.
HIs "most important reason" is not a "fact" but judgement call. That call underestimates the cunning of some members of the board and administration!
Now that is a fact!

We may not agree on who will vote... or how they'll vote, but what we can all agree on is,

It cost EXTRA money to print and send EXTRA special mailings for an EXTRA special vote in March.

VOTE IN MAY AND GO AWAY!

SCATS said...

To 4:50AM ~~ I agree, TY!

To 9:33AM ~~ GREAT SLOGAN!!

Just think about something for a minute. If someone is going to commit voter fraud, what's in it for him. Is he or she going to profit by committing this crime. We are talking about a simple up or down vote on public project . I will concede that the contractor will surely profit but In order for that to happen there would have to be voter approval . Potential contractors would then have to bid as well as the turf suppliers and the lights . This entire conversation is out of sight and ridiculous. It makes no sense and will not happen and it amazing to me based on some comments that some you really think this is a possibility. Out of sight FOR sure

I find it very believable that some would lower themselves to this level. Don't forget, those who want the stadium see this as a last ditch effort. If they don't get what they want now, they won't get another opportunity for years to come. Personally, I'd be extremely happy, amused even, if Prop failed and Prop 2 passed. What then Selke?

SCATS said...

To 2:36PM ~~ What's in it is Friday NIGHT football, duh.

To 3:17PM ~~ Good point! I wonder that myself ... if Proposition 1 fails but Proposition 2 passes, will they revote both until enough dead folks vote for it? Oh the possibilities!

Anonymous said...

Ya know what's everyone. Voter fraud can be a two way street. Why wouldn't it be fair to say that some fanatic opposed to the stadium project could engage in the
same illegal tactics as these disparate Friday night guys described by SCATs. If one side can do it so can the other side be smart enough to figure it out. When I vote I am going to bring my paranormal ghost detector with me and see if I can see the dead vote . If I get one on camera I promise to post it on this blog. Lol

SCATS said...

To 4:25PM ~~ You shouldn't make promises you can't keep.

CAN I PLAY DEAD AND VOTE NO?

IF YES, HOW IS THAT DONE?

RSVP (Maybe George can provide a chart)

SCATS said...

To 11:03AM ~~ Do what we plan to do. Vote "NO" on Prop. 1. Vote "yes" on Prop. 2. That way we can ALL be athletic supporters, dead or alive :)

While we are tossing out all sorts of hypotheticals regarding the proposed stadium, allow me to add one of my own to the mix. It concerns the safety of artificial turf vs the natural turf being used at the Arcadia fields at the present time Before I continue, be mindful of the fact that what I m about to post, has never been proven at that site to the best of my knowledge. It falls into the "What ifs category ".
Back in 1997, I had a pressure treated wooden deck built in my yard. During it's construction, my 7 yr old black lab wood chew on the cut off pieces of the wood. A year later, he would die from acute liver failure. Remembering those events that took place a year earlier concerning the deck and the wood, I did some research on pressure treated lumber. I would learn that the preservative used to prevent rot was CCA, Chromate, Copper Arsenate, a substance used inDDT until banned by the EPA in 1972. DDT, was the substance used by Apple farmers to kill insects harmful to their trees and fruit.Since my property is built on an old Apple orchard, I decided to go further with my investigation.
Still suspicious of the wood used in the deck contributed to the death of our dog, I decided on a course of action.
Because the manufacturer of the wood recommended that the wood should not be sealed or painted to allow the wood to dry for at least one year and a year had past . I began my tests.
These tests consisted of taking soil samples from different location in my back yard. I started by taking six samples in and around the immediate area of the new deck 10 samples were taken in 10 ft increments away from the deck extending to the furthest point in the yard. Once gathered and labeled, I took the samples to the Paradigm laboratories on Lake Ave.two week later, I got my results.
The samples collected around the deck contained 10 times the allowable amount of arcenic by the EPA. The other samples all were 5 times the allowable limit. I had my answer. By ingesting small amounts of the wood, my dog consumed a lethal dose of CCP.
Since arcenic is a natural occurring element found in soil, we as humans consume small amount in our food supply and drinking water every day.Anything grown in the ground contains arcenic. One on the properties of this element is the fact that it will attach itself to the first molecule that it comes in contact with, such as soil and does not penetrate rather it always remains on the surface. That is until it is disturbed or comes into contact with another element such as water. In the case of water, it readily mixes with water molecules. That's the reason some fish have been found to have above normal amounts of arsenic in their tissues.
By know, you have got to wondering, What's my point? How does this have any bearing on the proposed stadium and Astro Turf? It may in just this way.
My property is one click away from Arcadia. And since both properties, like many others in Greece, were built on land used to grow apples.DDT was used in these areas prior to 1972. Therefore it would be reasonable to conclude that above normal amounts of arcenic could be found in soil in and around Arcadia and some of our other schools. Now as I said in my opening, to my knowlege there have never been studies such as I did, so no concrete proof exists that these condition at that location. However, this now begs the question. If those high levels do exist then there are two possible scenarios in play here. As a parent , which would you prefer your child be exposed to in the use of existing natural turf or that of artificial turf. In other words, given similar environmental circumstances, a rain soaked field. Which would you prefer, your child exposed to human contaminants on an artificial field or a mouth full of mud and water containing higher than allowable amounts of arcenic.

District admins are using District email to bolster vote by advocating for a yes vote by employees. Can we use an email by a Principal to their staff as a means to invalidate the vote? I would be happy to forward it's content to NYSED, GCSD, PERB, or any other entity reputable enough to stop what I believe to be an illegal vote due to manipulation!!!

SCATS said...

To Joe ~~ Surely you must jest!! There are MANY suspicions calling into question the SAFETY of artificial turf! Recent national news reports tie it to cancers among young female soccer players. On top of that, it is quite apparent that GCSD has NO PLANS to routinely treat the turf to attempt to keep it even modestly sanitary for play.

If you are this concerned about fields built on toxic soil, I suggest you look into the soil on Hoover Dr. where THOUSANDS of Greece kids attended school (and hundreds of employees worked) in the shadow of Kodak's smokestacks!

To 6:02PM ~~ Forwarding it to GCSD admin. would be a waste of time. In reality, GCSD is doing so many illegal things, because they have NO FEAR of any substantial penalty should they get caught.

4:12pm I do not believe it is still the case but not to many years past that is how pressure treated wood was treated, with arsenic. that is why you never make your picnic table out of pressure treated wood. Lay enough food directly on the wood and you are ingesting arsenic. If your dog chewed pressure treated wood no wonder it died. That is why closest to your deck the higher the levels.

SCATS said...

To 9:42PM ~~ And you aren't supposed to burn PT wood in a fire either. Back to the topic at hand, please.
