32-year-old Christina Jewell-Belluccio is charged with rape and performing a criminal sex act.  She is a senior teacher aide in the Greece Central School District.

It has happened with more then one boy, starting over the summer. The 3rd degree count is also BS. i know of at least 3 boys, one grad last year. The one i know of for sure happened over the summer he was 15, almost 16. He lied and said he was going to be 17. She knew he was underage at the time. His bday is in the middle of Sept. How did this women even get out on bail?

The child i know of for sure was almost 16, not 17.

Post correctly she was a teacher aid and cheerleader coach

To 7:38AM ~~ A 16 yr. old is not "a child".

To 9:06AM ~~ I posted correctly. My title says "Aide" but the media report I posted says teacher. Bark up WROC-TV's tree, not mine ;)

What does anyone expect from this institution? She sat by and watched how Sharon Duffy, the former ASL teacher was slapped on the back of the hand and then was praised by community members last year for her lewd behavior. This whole district, Greece Olympia in particular, is a cesspool.

SCATS said...

To 12:28PM ~~ Funny that you mention Duffy. I immediately thought about how it was just last year when that happened. GCSD has gone way downhill over the last several years in particular. TY Babs.

6:38 Bail is meant to guarantee the the person charged will show up for court. It is not meant as a form of punishment. At times other than Capitol cases, be denied if the identity and the address of the individual can not be established.

SCATS said...

To 1:01PM ~~ Anyone who routinely follows the various cases around this area can see that awarding bail, or not, is definitely used to punish certain people! Similar cases are frequently handled inequitably based upon this issue. One drunk driver gets bail, another is held without it, despite similar histories.

SCATS in regard to my 7:38 post that u corrected by saying that a, "a 16 year old is not a child." My comment was that "the CHILD was 15 going on 16." Not 16 going on 17. Its also funny how u agree with 12:28's comment about Duffy's "lewd behavior" like a dirty word and sex with students are even close to the same thing. Sorry but to me a 15 year old is a child. If i remember right, when everyone was up in arms over the ASL teacher writing a dirty word in a class of 17-18 year old Sr's, the word children was used over and over again. SCATS u also referred to the 19 or 20 year old that replaced her as a child.

Interesting that WROC corrected the article hours ago to indicate the accused was not, in fact, a "teacher," yet Scats still chooses to quote the factually incorrect version. Why?

SCATS said...

To 2:39PM ~~ I don't care whether it's a 15 or a 16 yr. old. ~ IMHO, teens over the age of 14 are NOT children, but young adults.

I never stated that what Duffy did was the same or even similar to what J-B did! That's YOUR spin, not mine.

Re: the hiring of Donald to teach the ASL class - you do NOT remember right. I have reviewed my posts about the ASL teacher and I referred to Donnie once as "a kid": "The FACT that GCSD is hiring a recent STUDENT to teach tells me this kid HAS CONNECTIONS, period.

Also, my comments never referred to the students as "children" but as students. In one instance I made a general statement about "the community's children" in relation to how GCSD employees should be expected to behave.

I strongly suggest that the next time you try to open your mouth, you insert your foot BEFORE putting your hands to the keyboard, Donnie ;)

Please don't bother denying it.

To 7:21PM ~~ 1 - I've been out most of the afternoon.
2 - Once I post something that is quoted (as in this case), I don't continue checking back for changes. If I did, I'd be rewriting this BLOG constantly & never get anything new posted. How long do you expect us to keep checking for changes to a story? A day? A week? A month? A year? What if they delete the story? Should we delete it too, as if it never happened? WE DON'T THINK SO!

To all, regardless of your opinions, penal law for these charges states under 17. Therefore student(s) is/are minor, and she could not have been charged under that statute unless the age of that/those persons was proven! Remember these are charges only by PD officers and not determinations by lawyers or Judges.

SCATS said...

To 5:35PM ~~ You are correct because 17 is the AGE OF CONSENT in NY State. The case in Hilton turns out to be between a 40-something female & a 17 yr. old student, so no law broken there. However, I think these school districts are way out of line with confiscating cell phones. In the Hilton case, it's really none of their business, as it turns out.

IMHO, cell phones in the hands of students are going to be an ongoing source of problems. They should be BANNED FROM THE SCHOOLS, so the focus can be on learning, not sexting, texting, pics & porn.

strange how there were a million post about that ASL teacher, but not so many about this monster sleeping with boys. Do people just not find this to be serious?

SCATS said...

To 6:12PM ~~ Boys?? More than one?? Are YOU serious?? Better call GPD. Oh wait! They are too busy covering their arses over the Hilton pic case ;)

Anonymous said...

One yes it is true there is a double standard when it comes to boys and girls. That boy is not negatively effected at all in fact he's looked at like a hero now because he slept with older woman. Not say right or wrong but that's how it is. Also what is GPD covering arses over hilton pics for ?????

SCATS said...

To 2:09PM ~~ According to a spokesperson from Bivona Child Advocacy, you are ill-informed. In recent televised interviews, she repeatedly stated that young males suffer emotionally at least as much as females after these encounters. She blames it on society's double standard and stated that often makes it even more difficult for male victims to deal with.

The cell phone issue is important to note in this discussion. Are you all aware that your cell phone is now immediately considered evidence and confiscated by PD when any accusation is made regarding social media issues? It is equally regarded as being identical to PCs, ISPs, social postings, sites visited and etc. Therefore the PD will take it immediately when there is any remote possibility of cyber crime accusation or threats. The PD, Lawyers, and Courts then have access to all calls, texts, postings, saved data, and uploads/downloads ever initiated by that phone or any prior phone with that number! They can also then link to cloud, location, and all data ever transferred to or from that device... No matter your personal settings!!

SCATS said...

To 5:51PM ~~ Possibly even worse is that school districts are confiscating phones even when no crime has happened! That's what they did this week in Hilton.

At what point did it become OK to deny student all civil rights when they are in a public school?

Oddly, the same school districts that pull these stunts turn around and use "privacy" as their reason for being unable to talk. Unbelievable!

Boy Wonder who heads the Criminal Investigation Unit of GPD who was punked by a teenage girl not too long ago and is too lazy to properly follow up on investigations period. In one case he didn't bother to contact a single witness.

SCATS said...

To 2:37PM ~~ Punked? Please tell!

Anonymous said...

I think 2:37 is referring to the teen girl who went missing a few months ago and freaked out the entire town, only to find out she ran away but made it seem like an abduction. At least I think that's what the commenter is referring to.

Also, can I please have your email address SCATS? I'd like to run something by you and get your opinion on how to proceed. It involves the GCSD and superintendent.
Thank you.

Does anyone else have concerns that a retired GPD senior person is now running the Security and safety portion of the GCSD operation? Do any of you readers think that the security chief for GCSD has been intentionally positioned to subvert what is going on in our schools? If so or if not, ask who might be better assigned to manipulate investigations with the PD than someone who every current officer owes their position? I think this stinks of the hypocrisy and nepotism that defines Greece.

SCATS said...

To 6:15PM ~~ Yes, we have concerns! In some respects, it almost seems like a joke that he has assured us he has rid our schools of visiting sex offenders (at considerable expense) when no prior problem with this was ever made known. I think it's a way of diverting attention away from larger issues ;) And nepotism is the way, in Greece NY.

I heard more rumors regarding an investigation by security, detectives, and others at a Greece school for nudie pictures sent on cell phones. Anybody know more? Is it more of Hilton, or Olympia scandal, or a whole new variation at a location that is being covered up by GCSD Security? With Greece Police providing collusion?

SCATS said...

To 5:39PM ~~ The Hilton incident happened at a Hilton School, so I doubt it was that. Last night, mention was made at the board meeting about how wonderfully Laurel Heiden, Steve Chatterton and others responded to an incident at Olympia HS. I assumed they meant the one involving the TA. If you hear anything more, please let us know.

To 5:39PM ~~ MAYBE it's the case involving the Special Ed student at Athena? It's on the news tonight. I just posted a BLOG.
