Three Athena Students Charged

WROC-TV reports:

The Greece Police announced that three Greece Athena students face charges relating to the recording of a disabled student doing inappropriate acts.  All three face the charge of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.  One faces that charge as well as the felony charge of possession of obscene sexual performance by a child.

The Greece Police Chief also revealed today that there were two seperate incidents with the same victims and the same student with disabilities where recording were made.

Last night in exclusive interview with News 8, Angela Fernandez told us her son admitted to recording the incident at Greece Athena High School but that all of the teens involved were joking around.   We spoke with her again today after her son was charged.

"I was flabbergasted.  I didn't think it was gonna come to this," said Angela Fernandez, the accused boy's mother.  "It was a kid doing something silly and he pulled out his phone. And he thought it was funny. He didn't touch the boy."

Now Ms. Fernandez is trying to hire an attorney.  There was a school hearing set for tomorrow, something Fernandez says she is rethinking attending.

SCATS ~~ Thanks to the pressure put on by the Greece community & the parents of children with special needs, these punks will learn about how "funny" they really were.

Mommy is part of the problem.

We now see why these kids are the way they are. Absolutely NO parental guidance.

Would she think it was *something silly* if her child was the victim?

Dear Mrs Fernandes;
The Monroe County Public Defenders Office stands ready, willing and able to protect your little darling from JUSTICE.

Just come on down, bring your adorable child, and sign up. Even if you're employed, the whole deal shouldn't cost you more than a hundred bucks, and we will even provide a suit for Little Darling to wear to Court and look human for the Judge.
We cannot remove tats or piercings, you have to do that yourself.

Please bring your own writing paper and pens because our clients already swiped most of our office supplies.

Perhaps Ms. Fernandes ought to ask her son if there is any truth to the statements he made that he would give the victim a BJ if he drank his own piss? Remember mama, there are witnesses who haven't been charged so as to have their testimony!!! And I don't think the PD's office can bribe all of them!!!

Could there be a day care facility closing soon if a certain minor is convicted as a sex offender who is living within the property lisenced??? Or should the State act first and suspend such lisence pending the outcome of a trial to protect the welfare?
