Where Were Reilich, Phelan?

Holiday Inn Fire Remembrance Ceremony

Former Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter & current Gates Police Chief Jim Van Brederode attended.

WHERE were Greece "leaders" like Reilich & Phelan?

I attended the event and their absence was quite obvious to me and I am sure others in the sparsely attended memorial. I counted roughly 37 attendees , hardly enough to distribute the balloons that were released. To me this was a clear indication of the general attitude of the locals regarding an incident that took place some 36 yrs ago, in most cases not yet born or too young at the time to be effected by the incident or not yet residents of the town at the time. I also think it is a reflection of the general attitude that prevails by locals WHO JUST DONT CARE and are to busy with their own lives to give it much thought.
As to why Reilich and Phelan did not attend, I have my own theory . The press was invited and some did attend. Their presence would have no doubt led to them being approached by the media for comments relative to the status of the investigation. A subject Reilich wants to avoid and Phelan has already commented on recently. They obviously wanted no part of that possibility.

To 9:12AM ~~ It must be nice to get paid the LOFTY salaries AND get to avoid media questions, too. I blame our local media. They are beyond lame!!

Baxter was there. I didn't see them asking him any questions ;)

To 3:09PM ~~ Let's face it. You're just another smartass WAG pretending to know about things you don't. As usual, you fail to back up your words with numbers ... because you can't.

Was the bar serving at Barnard Exempts?

Perhaps someone was reliving the event from square jump there.

It speaks to a tune of something to hide!! Greece is simply the "neighborhood of make believe" from the Mr. Rogers show except not so"innocent". Corruption is systemic, deep, and very in trenched. These faceless cowards protect themselves until someone on the chess board has to be a sacrificial lamb. If anyone thinks town hall was innocent with the Rahn scandal they are totally oblivious to reality!! Rahn just ended up as the "falling chess piece" for a much dirty system.
