Ya think they'll discuss Bully Bill's revised Coffee Kiosk that replaces the Coffee Shop that pissed off so many Greece Library patrons?

What flippin idiot will be the vendor who takes on this lead balloon, and who is the fool who planted the idea in Billy's brain?

To 11:27PM ~~ I've heard that Soho's is the chosen one. If I'm not mistaken, the owners have probably gotten an inside edge via the Greece Chamber. Isn't that the "go to" place for Greece Republicans needing a partner in crime?

To: 11:27PM

Deputy Marini said it was "we" in Greece Post LTE Oct 16.

SCATS said...

To 11:16AM ~~ Yes ... "I am 'we' " ... lol

As a member of the friends of the library we are thrilled with the expanded space the town will be providing us and the addition of the coffee shop so please do not despair the idea. We are happy for the progressive thinking of the Reilich Administration.

To Mary ~~ Well, your comments are certainly NOT in-line with those made by other Friends, some of whom published editorials. It appears there is no agreementamong the greater 'we'.

Other friends, as in FACEBOOK friends, right, definitely the voice of the community has spoken. Lol

SCATS said...

To 4:21PM ~~ Actually, I was referring to Friends of the Greece Public Library, thus the capital "F".

TY for letting ME get in the last laugh LMAO ;)

OPPS , my mistake. I thought you where referring to those who post on this site in support of your agenda, lol
BTW. it has been said that he who laughs last, laughs best.

To 9:21AM ~~ I guess I win at laughing then. I'm known for my sense of humor and laugh always. Keeps me young, too LOL :)

There was just (Sunday around noon) an officer-involved shooting in the town of Greece on Stone Rd. Scats, any info on that?
(Sorry, to change the subject, wasn't sure how to start a new thread)

I can't help wondering; Is the Library Zoned for a Coffee Shop?
Is it a permitted use by Town Code?

Will the Code be enforced by the town?
Will the operator have to come before Town Board for permission to run this BUSINESS like Antelli's tenants had to for the failed food stores in his plaza?

Will SuperBill make his chosen vendor bid for the rights to use the Public Building for their PRIVATE BUSINESS?

WHO will bear the construction costs?
Who will pay the utility costs?

To 1:58PM ~~ And most importantly, will it be subjected to routine checks by the Dept. of Health?

Anonymous said...

11/11/2014 1:58 PM I would guess it would be handled just like the city handled it at Rundel or Pittsford or any of the other library's that have this amenity. I learned Irondequit is not looking at incorporating this amenity in their new library.

SCATS said...

To 4:43PM ~~ This is Greece. We don't do things the way other places do them, thus the negative headlines ;)

This should of said:

My bad.

Coffee shop is a waste. We have Timmy Ho's next door.

I'm sure us citizens know exactly how to handle this problem. If they put the store in there...don't buy anything. Soon enough the store will be gone. Just like those pesky coffee machines.

To 6:15PM ~~ Like I wrote on a different thread. There's at least a half dozen coffee shops very near to the library, including an actual Soho's that almost no one goes to.

SCATS will you bring me a coffee? I bet "NO" That is why I would like a coffee shop in the library. Everyone at the library is happy with the idea now. If you say different you should go to the Lie-berry.

SCATS said...

To 10:38PM ~~ I know for a FACT that not "everybody" is happy about it at the library now. But they can't afford to LOSE THEIR JOBS by going against the boss, Reilich. So they will play along, go along.
