The Typical Animal Hoarder Is Female

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives.
Every wife carried seven sacks.
In every sack was seven cats.
Every cat had seven kits.
Kits, cats, sacks, wives -
How many were going to St. Ives?

Oh, why not a goat, 2 cows, a horse and a few pigs?

Only one was going to St Ives. The others were going the other way.

These variance requests are out of control! Seven dogs is more than twice the limit. I hope they just say no.

Well it's just a good thing nobody looks into the cat hoarders of GRASP, isn't it.

Code compliance won't do a damn thing about illegal businesses without operating permits or fire alarms, but they have time to mess with dogs.
Code compliance in Greece must depend on palms getting greased.

To 12AM ~~ I'm not sure there is an exact number of cats allowed, but there is for dogs.

I agree that in Greece, Code Compliance is pretty much a joke. Nearly every one of my immediate neighbors has at least one visible compliance issue. God forbid our code people actually take care of anything without six phone calls/complaints.

They won't enforce any codes at business establishments but will surely bug a home owner who pays their taxes.

To 11:38AM ~~ I've been the neighbor of someone who had more dogs than three. Let me tell you, it's NO FUN AT ALL. Interestingly, they treat their dogs the same as their kids - stand on the back deck & scream at them.

Any news from the Zoning Board?

So SCATS, exactly how many felines do you possess?

To 7:16AM ~~ Typically, they take several rounds before making their decision. The last applicant withdrew their request BEFORE completing the lengthy hearing process. Hopefully, she decided to NOT have her 6 dogs.

I really don't understand how there could be any situation short of living on several acres of land where having 7 dogs in the 'burb of Greece would be an OK thing to do ... but I suppose that due process prevents them from just saying "NO" ...

To 9:17AM ~~ Why do you want to know??
