No it won't matter, rumor has it that they don't have enough votes to change the outcome. Julia continues to work her evil witchcraft. Lets hope that the coach takes legal steps after the meeting this evening. You have to hope he has good legal counsel. He should sue the pants off Julia and Adam. There are enough people around that have heard them both same they were going to get "him".

Assuming the president will entertain two motions tonight, I predict the following
Motion #1 a resolution to set aside the previous vote. Hopefully a discussion on the motion will follow explaining the need for this action.
Motion #2 be it so moved that the employee identified as # 42 be reappointed as recommended by the Superintendant at the last meeting. No discussion as this is a personnel matter.
Results motion # 1 6-3 in favor # 6-3 in favor.

To 9:48AM ~~ I believe the correct procedure is to RESCIND the previous vote. God help us all if they don't do it correctly this time!

Just rescinding the vote won't suffice, Since the entire package was approved minus number 42 for a separate vote , a motion to set aside the previous separate vote and a revote on the rescinded vote would be In order It all can be done right with one motion as outlined above.
BTW 9:14 your are wrong Julia and O'Toole go down in flames tonight. She is not the only one that knows how to use a phone. . Who would be stupid enough to follow her off the cliff in front of all those irate parents in attendance and the Superintendent who still has to be furious with her for thumbing her nose at her recommendation to rehire the guy. Also BTW, don't believe all you have read on this subject.
In my opinion, the wild card tonight will be Grinnan who suddenly has become a Julia disciple and that is troubling as I thought he was smarter than that. It only shows how wrong you could be about someone.

Unless all members have received previous notice of a pending motion to rescind the vote at this meeting, it will require a 2/3's vote of those present to rescind the vote.
In other words , if the motion comes from the floor tonight, it will require a 2/3's vote, However, if the president has informed them prior to tonight's meeting , only a simple majority vote would be required to rescind.

To 2:33PM ~~ Bottom line: When you don't follow the rules (the BOE didn't) and do something illegal (they did), getting out of trouble can be difficult.

If only they knew & understood how to use a proper Exec. Session to their advantage, all of this could have been avoided. Will they learn? I doubt it.
