I heard it was cancer of the worst kind. What a tragedy, so young.

What exactly is cancer of the worst kind? I guess it depends in your perspective. Every single type of cancer is bad. Those which result in death are surely the worst. Some forms are very aggressive and a person can literally die within days of being diagnosed. Some others are horribly painful and yet a person can survive for years. My thoughts are with his family and friends. 48 IS young. So is 28, or 18, or 8 :(

To 7:48PM ~~ I'm sorry for your loss. Yes, pancreatic cancer is one of the really bad ones. They don't have the number of treatment options that are available for some of the others.
