How come Greece hasn't had a budget notice in the Greece Post? How are we suppose to know about the budget vote and where to vote? Hilton has already had two notices in the Post, what is Greece waiting for?

To 12:12PM ~~ At the April 8th BOE meeting, they decided to take away that insight from the community by adopting the following resolution:

That the Rochester Business Journal be the designated Official School Newspaper for the Greece Central School District in all instances; and the Daily Record will be used in the instance(s) that more than one publication source is required. This resolution rescinds and and replaces Designation 8.02 adopted at the July 8, 2013 Greece Board of Education meeting.

Who reads the Greece Post these days? That advertiser posing as a newspaper is a joke. They can't even give it away. It's nothing more than recycling bin fodder and junk mail.
Because this board is so incompetent , the D & C reporter does not attend meeting anymore.
And by the way, who votes anymore.Perhaps you will be one of the 3,000 who will vote this year. This fact is no longer a joke. It's a GD DISGRACE!

To 2:57PM ~~ While I get your concerns, the Greece Post is MUCH MORE AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY than either RBJ or the Daily Record. At the VERY LEAST, they ought to retain one of the COMMUNITY newspapers.

The budget vote has been on the various internet calendars for quite some time... publication in a newspaper seems archaic!

To 3:34PM ~~ Archaic or not, it IS THE LAW! They should FOLLOW ALL LAWS, right? Besides, the required public announcement contains info not included in the DO version.
