What the hell happened to MR BIG's promise to change the way town business will be conducted. I warned that he is going to make you wish Jacko was back. Just when you thought it couldn't possibly get worse xzxvxz@&#*"!!!!

To 4:10PM ~~ Remember, he promised to "make Greece great again." But then, WTH does THAT mean? It's not like he complained during Auggie's reign.

No more live tweets during board meetings? What did that last one month?

There were live tweets tonight. I think you are confused. I asked about the agenda and there are no requirements to post an agenda, the reason why they are not up is things are being added to the agenda up until 5pm. I was at the meeting and witnessed the tweeting and got an agenda, around 45 items listed.

To 10:01PM ~~ No one said they are "required" to post one. However, if they want us to BELIEVE they are really attempting to be open & transparent, then doing so would go a long ways in establishing that image. Even Auggie posted agendas most of the time.

WHO does the tweeting??

10:01 That's a lame and feeble excuse for flouting the spirit and intent of Open Meetings law. Maybe you should reread what the law actually says and think about its intent. Does Greece have a website? Does it have a high-speed internet connection? Communities much smaller than Greece somehow manage to put their agendas, and their agenda-related materials online well in advance of their meetings so we residents can see what's going on. The only, and I do mean only, reasons not to put the agendas online well before the meetings are that the board doesn't want people to come and doesn't want residents to know what they're up to. Any other "reason" offered is simply a smokescreen. Same goes for any other government agency or board that does the same as Greece.
Would you put up with that crap from the school board?

10:01 If as you say you were at the meeting and was given an agenda containing forty five items, the question now becomes this . As those items were introduced and put on the floor, when Relic called the question for discussion on the item, did any board member asked to comment on the issue before the board for a vote. For if none did, nothing has changed under Mr Big that took place under the former dictator of Greece. Open government has been reoccurring joke in this town since the last democrat held a seat on that body.
9:03 comments were right on the money. Oh , I almost forgot. Was the time for board meetings changed to a more reasonable hour to accommodate the public's ability to attend meetings? I thought not.

To 10:06AM ~~ I will bet you lunch that agenda showed who was going to move and second each item too. Another Auggie carryover that flips the bird at Open Govt.
