I know this isn't the site for this question but I don't know how to reach you so I'll ask here. The new city mayor hired two personal body guards. Is that common in other cities??

She hired her uncle and is paying him $80,000.

Let me first say the city was already a mess, and no one particular elected official was going to change that. However, this Warren show is going to be an epic failure, but I say give the voters what they want. Already hired the DWI guy who admitted not being truthful, security guards (one family member), the husband who took part in a violent robbery/assault years ago... It's like the Springer show!

To 9:25AM ~~ It might be beneficial to Greece in that the city can replace us in the headlines for their scandals ;)

If I didn't know any different, I might have thought 9:25am WAS talking about the the town of greece! "Give the voters what they want" alright! Doesn't matter if there is a D or R associated with the name... too much power leads to corrupt behavior.

Our boy Otis is a proud employee of GCSD, been there just 4 years since he graduated from GCSD and already worked his way up to head hallway mopper on the Janitorial Crew. He told us at supper they had all the janitors walking around the buildings listeing for cracking sounds because GCSD still ain't sure them walls built by the Crista people ain't going to fall in when wind blows hard. He said over there by the Art Center he could hear wind whistling in and feel it in some places. He went back to the office and got a hard hat.
