Greece Settles Suit For $5.2 Million

Tetra Tech Architects settles 2007 construction suit out-of-court

Dispute included issues with:

• Heating systems at nine schools that didn’t work properly.
• Malfunctioning drainage systems.
• Leaky roofs.
• A malfunctioning security system.
• Entry canopies that didn’t properly shed ice, endangering staff and students.
• Reinforcements meant to secure the roofs to the walls at 13 schools that were not installed.
• 180 seats at the Athena Performing Arts Center, as well as all seats in the handicapped seating area, that have no view of the stage.
• Seats at APAC that are so close together, it’s impossible for people to sit.

Does that cover the cost we, the tax[ayers, paid to rectify the problems?

I am not suprised Tetra settled. What a mess it would be for them and Walts if it went to court and they had to tell the real truth about all the money that slipped through other hands! Walts would NEVER appear and testify under oath. Same goes for the former Greece school employees who work or worked for Tetra (alias Thomas Assoc.)

None of the above!

To 6:05PM ~~ Or former BOE members, for that matter ;)

6:05 You have got one of the players right, Walts. However, the co - conspirator was Chista Construction not Thomas as they were formerly known.

Halfass and shoddy were the goals to meet at GCSD construction work.
Why would GCSD ask for a higher standard from Crista than GCSD delivers to students?

Thomas a/k/a Tetra is a captive division of the Crista crapstar empire. The empire is structured to sell and deliver exactly what GCSD got, CRAP.

6:05 He would if he was subpoenaed 6:18 is spot on. I look for Tetra to begin a civil action against Christa. They couldn't before but now that they have been damaged to the tune of 5.2 mil, they can now sue for recovery. If they do as I believe they will, look for the return of the soon to be not so Teflon ex Super. The Feds are on him in VA as well as locally and that will add another dimension on his road to perhaps THE BIG HOUSE.

Can you imagine Walts going to jail. wow! Unless they send him to Albion State Prison, he will be the center of a lot of inmate competition for his attention.

When do I get my rebate check?

To 9/26/13 @ 1:22PM.......We can only pray what you are saying comes true. And I hope the Feds take down Imon, Kisha and Phelan too. This $120 million project was ripe for fraud from the beginning. Walts and his cronies and the school board had no clue how to manage a project of this magnatude.
