Nearly 500 Saw The Videos

NEW VIDEO!!

WHERE IS THE
COMMUNITY OUTRAGE??

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE CALLED THE GREECE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE (966-2301) or THE GREECE POLICE CHIEF (581-4034) TO DEMAND ACTION??

I'm guessing very few!

Just because GCSD sent out an automated call promising that students would be "held accountable" does NOT resolve the problem!

They've had the link for the first video removed already.

Problem solved!

Pick up the phone and DEMAND:
  • Greece Schools be rid of those who are stealing services (don't belong attending here);
  • That  the adults who are in-charge of SUPERVISION, security, administration and other PAID JOBS be held accountable;
  • They implement policy that is SPECIFIC, enforceable and consistent throughout the schools with clear repercussions for infractions included within the verbiage.

I had called the school before the vidoes came out and it was downplayed as a scuffle. This is not the first time that an issue has been minimized in this building.

You are so right. This community should be so mad that this is allowed to happen. It is truly sickening. And the continued cover up by the police and GCSD. Where is the outrage indeed?

so im reading all the comments everyone is putting up.YOU PEOPLE MUST BE AS STUPID AS ALL THESE KIDS YOU JUST SAW. those students you saw fighting!!! no one knew about it. NO ONE. these kids came here on campus for no reason. and the sedcond fight, NO ONE knew it.parents need to know that when their kids come to school, they are totally different kids. so dont give me crap about blaming anyone else. it is solley the kids fault, and theirs alone. half the parents sre to blame as well. alot of parents know how their kid acts, and they dont do a thing. the school at fault? amagine that.

Anywhere online that we can see the video(s) NOW??

To 4:55PM ~~ I just checked WHEC-TV's site and nothing is posted. Maybe later. They just showed part of the video at 5. Another story is coming up at 6.

I just posted a link to a blurred video from 13WHAM. They say it contains minors, thus the need to blur it.

School districts across this country reap what they sow. The schools blame the kids and the parents for bad behavior at school yet the schools allow this type of crap to go on.

Pants on the floor. Boobs hanging out. Kids allowed to play sports and other non academic activies with failing grades. The busses full of unruly brats. And NOT ONE single adult in the school system will stand up and say THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!

If kids don't listen to the rules in school or on the bus throw their ass out and let mommy and daddy sue. But alas, I am only dreaming. Our overly liberal educators don't want to hurt any kid's self esteem. So we have school districts all over the country where the kids run the show.

As I said before.....you reap what you sow.

To 5:59PM ~~ You forgot to mention that our BOE allows cell phones and even expanded permissable use of them in their policy. Without access to social media during the day, it would be much harder to "organize" these after school gang fights.

Scats, if you recall one of the BOE members said that they will look at the issues as they arise when they approved the cell phone policy. If I am not mistaken, the comment was so out absurd that it is now coming back to bite them. The issue with the phones is a mess in all the schools and there is very little that can be done about it. The attire, the hats, the foul language, you name it and it is happening in the Greece schools. It really is disgusting and degrading to have to hear the constant disrespect from these kids. In addition, it is embarrassing and sad to think that this mob mentality is prevalent in the Greece schools. In one of the videos it shows not one kid but two kids beating one kid. Pathetic punks can't even fight by themselves that they have to gang up on one student. I would start by getting rid of some of these administrators that refuse to take a hard stand against these issues. The first administrator is BDW who, in my opinion, is always hiding the true extent of the disarray rather than acknowledge it and fight to rectify it. BDW, stand up and look at the schools for what they really are rather than accept the words of your administrators. The administrators hide the true facts so as to not look bad. Do you have to see more disarray to believe all that glitters isn’t always gold!

1. I'm not sure what this has to do with non-residents, unless they caused this.

2. I went to Catholic School 1-12 in the 60s and 70s and there were fights like this back then. Someone would challenge someone to a fight, the news would spread like wildfire and 100 people would show up. You are all acting like this is new. What is new is that people now have cameras and social media to spread the news.

To 8:44PM ~~ I agree with most of what you say. Where we diverge is with where changes need to be made first. Since BDW was hired by the BOE and since the BOE set the policy that permits wider use of cell phones in the schools, then I'd say we MUST CHANGE OUR BOE FIRST! Without that, they will just hire another administrator who plays puppet to their wishes. Babs will NEVER stand up to speak about these situations. She mistakenly believes we are paying her underlings to do that job for her.

To 9:24PM ~~ Our schools are filled with large numbers of students who do NOT belong attending a Greece school. Many of them create drama with students who do belong in Greece schools. GET THEM OUT and suddenly you are dealing with fewer kids, fewer problems.

Comparing the school fights of today to what happened 40-50 years ago is an apples to pineapples comparison. Kids today gather in better, bigger, more organized groups using social media to spread the word in minutes. They fight more violently having been raised on a steady diet of violence on TV, in videos, in video games, etc. Weapons are much more prevalent and common. Add to that the fact that neither school employees or parents want to deal with it and you get FREQUENT fights with gang-like behaviors shown. Racial issues are ignored in the schools. It's a tinder box waiting to ignite.

MEMO fron Babs
to
Staff

We need to come up with some new sport & claim the little darlings caught on tape were practicing.

That'll fly.
Look at the shit the ice hockey clowns got away with.

From Babs
to
Taxpayers

Quit bothering me. I have a heavy schedule of meetings and events to attend.

When the little mutants are on school property they belong to us. The rest of you have nothing to say.
It's the law
In Loco Parentus
Babs is BOSS.
Don't mess with Babs.

You GCSD Graduates understand that?

Anonymous said...

YES there are kids who don't belong in our school & are out of distric residents, MINE being one of them since moving out of distric to her Father's & I fought everyday to get her out! kinda hard to do so when the Principal over rode MY parental athority & being a Greece taxpayer & allowed an out of district parent to request permission & granted it! I emailed BDW, and was pawned off on someone else, who went back & forth with answers like a dog chasing their tail! Emailed Nelms, no response. I should release these emails to Greece taxpayers & see the outrage! Maybe for my suffering, someone will set up an online fund for me being bullied by GCSD themselves!

How many calls have you made? Any of you?

Anonymous said...

Lemme guess.... NONE??

SCATS said...

To 2:49PM ~~ As is so typical, I know of some who made calls only to be directed to leave a voice mail. It seems no one in Greece Central, the PD or the Town Offices ever really answers their phone any more.

Anonymous said...

Yup, don't blame the "callers." It's much more fun to blame the "receivers," isn't it?

SCATS said...

To 7:54PM ~~ You make no sense. Blame for what?

The receivers are paid to take calls, among other things.
