Scats,

Might be a dumb question, but....
On the enrollment document it lists the grades for each school and then "SE".
I assume that stands for Special Education?

To 3:08PM ~~ Yes, that's my understanding, too.

For the past three years, at least, I believe the district has forecasted an increase in enrollment.
For each of those years enrollment has declined.
How are we to believe the forecast for increased enrollment yet again this year?

To 8:50PM ~~ THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad I didn't have to be the one to bring this up, again!!

It is my belief that Nadolinski used to routinely cook the enrollment numbers. When you keep 'em high, you don't ever have to reduce anything, from number of buses to number of teachers to number of schools. I see that although enrollments have dropped dramatically over the last dozen years, the number of teachers employed has fallen little in comparison. We've got about 1 teacher for every 11 or so students now.

They've been cooking enrollment stats since the 90's when they projected 16,000 students. Greece never came close to that.

If anyone can summarize what happened/was discussed at this meeting, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
