Monroe County Income Falls About 3%


But Taxes Rise From 2008 to 2011

Census data shows that Monroe's income declined from $51,762 to $50,204. Median property taxes in Monroe County grew from $3,705 in 2008 to $4,052 in 2011, or 9.37 percent.

Was that calculated statistic (read: sometimes absolutely meaningless) as Tom Galisano leaves NY and the Total Income average drops because on it. Let's look at the possible causes behind the simplified statistics.

Well over half of all teachers got an automatic pay raise (even those who are ineffective). So it can't be the teachers.

How many layed-off from Kodak would cause that degree of drop?? I may be on to something!

To 8:10AM ~~ That argument is getting rather old. That debt clock is still ticking as fast as ever under Obama nearly 4 years later. I think it's time to pin the problem on the person who is in control now: Obamaloney ;)
