I DON'T care,
I don't have to care,
It's not MY money.
It's taxpayer money.

I even sent my stooge to buy
the books because I need to
revive my spirit.

Please someone report if Babs is there tonight. I am out of town otherwise I'd go. Curious if she is showing her face since she has been AWOL for a week now. So so disappointed. Would love to hear her excuse.

To 5:27PM ~~ Both Babs & Julia came out of hiding for tonights "Wham, bam, thank you ma'am" style BOE meeting. I guess they wanted to ram through as much business as possible before any faces on the BOE change (and questions get raised). There was NO DISCUSSION AT ALL related the past week of GCSD being in the news, or of either of their absences from the scene/cameras.

CONCLUSION: THEY ARE CAMERA SHY!?

Julia did mention they received many phone calls & emails ... then said "some were kinda disappointing." LOL!!

Thanks for the timely report. Guess we should not have expected more since Babs' actions of the past week say it all. Hope she reads this.

To 8:08PM ~~ She acted? I must have missed it! Same with Julia.

I hope Julia decides to step away from becoming a BOE officer this next year. It's pretty obvious that all those hours of BOE meetings, taking MCSBA classes to get her awards, working a job(until she was laid-off) took a toll on her ability to be a good parent herself, as seen by her son's Tweets laced with swearing, racial slurs, etc. We don't want him becoming the next viral video subject, now do we?

Hey SCATS, how about a new poll?

"I feel secure my kid will graduate able to read and write English and do basic math with Babs in charge."

BTW, could we get a new pic of Julia? The current one gives me acid reflux.

Scats, the icing on the cake was the incident this past week. If we had and doubts as to the character of BDW, the lack of appearance, the lack of communication and truley being the face of GCSD, it has been exposed. No leader, in their right mind, would have allowed a incident of this magnitude, worldwide scandal, to not be there when a first year principal had to go to the podium and give a statement denouncing the situation. If anything, it showed that maybe Deb H is more capable in leading this district than anyone of those clowns we have at DO now. I am appalled and embaressed to be associated with this school district.

To 8:28...
Agreed. Deb Hoeft is a great lady and a constant presence as district representative!

Scats; has anyone heard from the teamsters over their concern for how one of their members was treated?

To 8:28AM & 1:03PM ~~ She's very good at reading written statements.

To 1:35PM ~~ Not one single word that I'm aware of.

Scats, You are right, she can read. A lot more than Babs did.
