Wait a minute......the District needed to call me to tell me they were not going to mailout my Direct deposit paystub to save the District $800 but now they have $4500 for lead principals. That is convenient!

What will a lead principal do? Sounds like another layer of administration if you ask me.

To 6:16AM ~~ I believe that info is coming within the week. The three incumbents are VanOrman, Boily, Stenglein. We can pray none of them try for another term ;)

This comment is not about Ms Sloane as I respect her and her abilities....but if Dr Meier is so wonderful and the success at OA is because of her philosophies and leadership ( as we always hear) then why is SHE not the LEAD principal.Logic would have it that those with "proven" effectiveness would be leaders, right?

To 2:40PM ~~ I concur. I wonder how much the actual "savings" will be from closing schools after we pay for new signs, letterheads, principal "leader" stipends, actual costs of relocating equipment, etc. I'd like to see where in the budget the line item is for these costs.
