He deserves to toot his own horn! He has done a stand up job!

He does good work and his force is corruption free but why is there more apparent crime that makes it less safe to be in parking lots and on the streets of Greece? It wasn't so long ago that you need not worry about being out alone in Greece after dark. The city is a lost cause and little by little Greece is now too.
Think about it, Jack. Would you be around the Dewey Stone area after dark? Or alone in the daytime either since there have been 2 hold-ups at that corner in just the last 2 weeks. How about the hordes that descend upon the mall from 5 till closing? There is security there but it is still intimidating.

It is a free society and people can shop where they choose but there are "groups" of people that walk en masse there in the evening and it is intimidating. They have marked their territory and it is theirs. Let's see how they like the snazzy restaurants that are going in there to replace Bon Ton.
It will be a whole new area to safely break into cars so that will free up the lots behind Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
And it is not the chief's fault. It might be worse if not for his leadership.
Oh no! Now I have to write down these 2 stupid words to get this published.

I have said this before Greece isn't the only Town experiencing this. I drive for a living and if you look at parts of ghetto Irondequiot parts of Gates and even E.Rochester they are all feeling the spread of the City. Brighton is showing signs of it as well, they just don't report the crimes or the paper doesn't report it cause it's the eastside.
Our Chief is doing a fine job.

To 1:46PM ~~ No one said Greece is the only place where it's happening. However, instead of seeing the Chief, the police dog & his trainer and other cops out doing PR work about what good cops they are post-Rahn, how about they put that extra effort into solving crimes or preventing future ones? They can pretend we don't have gangs operating in town like RIP, Swag Money, etc. all that they like, but it doesn't improve anything.

To be honest, very rarely is there ever a positive comment on this website. Have you ever sat down with the Chief and had a discussion with him. I would bet you anything that you would have a completly different take than what you are reporting or what the other goofs say. Doing communitee work is just as important. My suggestion is if you really want to report facts and not bull _hit call the Chief and make an appointment to have a one on one with him.

To 2:12PM ~~ I know this might burst your bubble, but your ASSumptions about me are wrong. I've spoken to Baxter just as I've spoken to Babs and many other dillweeds "in charge" around here. I've even done "communitee" work myself, aside from this BLOG.

For the price we're paying to have a cop with a dog & leash in hand (he gets OT to care for the beast), doing something other than visiting nursing homes & "communitee" groups is expected! I know Baxter is on salary, but do we really need him to do an annual circuit reminding us it's his anniversary? I want him PREVENTING CRIME, if he runs out of crimes that need solving.

2:12 I heard he might be allergic to cats so no sit-down. Meow.
