"Fighting" ... "Bullying" ... "Hazing"

ALL of these "activities" break district policies.

WHERE were the PAID adult supervisors (coaches,
etc.) for the Greece Thunder hockey team when this crime occurred?

WHAT will be the punishment for their negligence?

WHEN will GCSD administration start meaning what they say about bullying by showing us it's NOT tolerated?

SCATS ~~ Babs, the spotlight is on you now! Any attempt to keep employee responsibility under wraps will come back to bite you (hard and in the behind) at a later time! Don't make that mistake. Show us you can do the right thing!

READ the previous thread and see how many of the team members think this incident is a joke.

LOOK at what was tolerated in the past, like shooting an airgun at an assistant coach!

GET these teams/coaches/parents under control before its too late!

Ironic that some of the very families/group that helped sway our Supt. and boe into keeping their special interest are now the focus of more embarrassment in this town. Keep right on catering to them, they’ll continue to crap on you.

The district policy of dignity for all students is words written on paper and nothing more. There is so much emotional instability in our youth that it is a task that really can not be managed. Heck there are zero consequences fro kids that have blatant could language, sexually explicit language and so in in front of staff and admins. Does the public really believe that name calling and bulling is being managed, I say No it is not.

Hey! Why does Greg p. get to register here at this blog twice! No fair! This site is outta control and must be stopped!!!

P.S. - A little birdie told me you have anger issues SCATS. Are you seeking help with that?

To 4:20PM ~~ I am not in charge of registrations to the BLOG. Google/Blogspot handles all of that.

As for the little birdie you are listening to, it must be either a cuckoo bird, or a loon. Take your pick.

To those of you who are trying (but failing) to defend Grimshaw ~~ I just listened to a recording of the Kimberly & Beck show where a note was read from Captain Steve Chatterton of Greece police who wrote that the INCIDENT HAPPENED IN THE LOCKER ROOM.

Given that aspect of the TRUTH coming out, you've been exposed for being complete cowards by letting a teammate bust this kid into the wall. SHAME ON YOU ALL!

How is this a Babs issue when parents obviously don't know how to properly PARENT their children????

To 3:34PM ~~ It's her problem because it happened during a Greece Central sanctioned & funded extracurricular under the supervision of a paid district hockey coach in a district leased facility ;)

When proactive education to our children about not being a bully and on how to be a good sportsman is violated then reactive education needs to be facilated.
Facilate the "0"tolerance that as adults we all talk about and dump this young man from the team (valuable lesson for him).
Then how about leanding some support to our superintendent. Finding fault is easy. Being supportive is difficult becasue it means personal effort must be provided.
I don't see many of the fault finders running for School Board.

To 7:35AM ~~ The current Supt. is already deep in analysis paralysis with just 7.5 months under her belt! The School Consolidation plan is a perfect example of using consultants, committees and studies to design the LEAST EFFICIENT MEANS of accomplishing a "goal" ~ getting the district down-sized to get the budget under control. Her next area of study will be sports, curriculum, etc. Again, too much study for too little payoff.

Getting on the BOE takes away your ability to obtain the info needed to expose what GCSD is actually doing. Former BOE members discovered this to be true. It takes FIVE VOTES to make ONE CHANGE on the BOE. Getting on there is a total waste of time.

It's true that the incident happened in the locker room, but the concussion happened ON the ice. As for the coaches that weren't present, it's a privacy issue. With the number of kids in the room that have to take showers and change. People on this site really need to get their facts straight. GO THUNDER

To 4:19PM ~~ Actually, it IS THE DUTY OF THE COACH TO SUPERVISE AT ALL TIMES!

Don't believe me? Remember when the Athena wrestling coach was fired when the younger kid was anally abused by the older kids in the locker room? He was fired for NOT supervising ;)

And I'm sure if he was in the locker room he would be accused of looking at younger boys or molestation. He CANNOT be in the locker room.

To 1:18AM ~~ Supervision is part of the job. I am sure you are wrong ;)

Posting a ;) doesn't make you right. The AD isn't even allowed to be in there supervising so I'm sure you're wrong.

To 12:03AM ~~ saying what you said doesn't make you right. SHOW ME THE DOCUMENTATION/PROOF.

I know for a fact that Athena wrestling coach got fired for NOT supervising in the locker rooms.
