Register Today For School District Vote

Greece Central School District residents age 18 and older who aren't registered to vote with the Monroe County Board of Elections, but who want to vote on the upcoming $34.5 million EXCEL II capital project referendum Dec. 6, may register with the district today. Voter registration will be held from 9AM - 1PM at all elementary schools & from 4 - 8 p.m. at Apollo Middle School, 750 Maiden Lane. Photo identification is required.

Also, call Lynne Armstrong, the District Clerk at 585-966-2010 to request an absentee ballot today! No need to go out in the cold, wet December weather to vote "NO" when you can do it from home ;)

You're so anti everything. You should move into a nursing home. Do the citizens of Greece a huge favor and LEAVE. Why stay here when you can't find anything positive about the place you live in?

I vote YES because it's directly opposite what you want. And it's clear that you don't ever want what is best for the Town.

To 12:26PM ~~ Move into a nursing home (really, I'm not nearly old enough for that)?? Leave Greece? WHAT would that change? I could still BLOG, if I were to do either.

It amuses me to no end to hear folks like you who one minute claim there is no impact of this BLOG, then the next minute want me gone. I'm well aware that numerous stories that come out on this BLOG end up getting media attention, putting the spotlight right where it ought to be. And THAT'S the axe you want to grind, isn't it?

One thing I know for sure is that Greece needs me now more than ever. I consider it a community service to stay and keep working on bringing needed change to this closed, clubby and corrupt community.

What's "best for the town" is:
putting an end to the scandals; stopping the corruption;
eliminating the waste of taxpayer money;
reducing taxes;
and graduating students who can read, write, comprehend & do basic math.

We know "what", SCATS, what is debatable is the "how"

To 9:23PM ~~ And we have plenty of politicians who are more than willing to capitalize on the fear of change our largely senior citizen based population dreads.

The last EXCEL proposal included items that were deemed ineligible for EXCEL funding.

Let's hope they got it right this time.
