GCSD Suspends Two Elementary Students

An airsoft gun was discharged on a school bus Monday, hitting the bus attendant in the leg.

No injuries were reported.

WHEC-TV reports that: "The school district said student safety is the district priority and our communication timeline will be reviewed and improved as needed."

While 13WHAM reports: "The school district said it learned about the incident today."

Does anyone know about the green pick-up truck in Hilton on Summertime Trail?

To 8:13PM ~~ Yes, I saw it on last night's news. Here's the link to the story on 13WHAM which claims there is no relation to the Athena School incidents:

How could they know there is no link. People who are attracted to middle school age (hebephile) do not care if they are in Hilton or Greece. And since he was unsuccessful with the ploy of walking the dog he could be trying a more aggressive approach. Let's hope he does not escalate further.

District has student safety in mind? No parents notified....I found out about the incident being Brookside students on 98 BUZZ in the morning....my kid goes to Parkland and for all I know it could have been on his bus! Parkland and Brookside is bussed together.

A Facebook fan says it was Brookside & that it was mentioned on 10 NBC news.

Does anyone know if Greece PD was informed or called about this incident? It seems to me that a police report should be made, probably by the bus attendant.

There were no Parkland students on that bus... it was a Brookside run only. This bus is full with Brookside students and does a 2nd run for the Parkland kids.
