A Message To Future Teachers

Do NOT apply for work at Greece Central School District.
You do NOT meet our minimal qualifications. You do NOT have a proper understanding of debt, and our employees must.
You probably don't understand whining or sniveling either. GCSD requires both abilities.

Attending in-state public university is HAVING SOMETHING HANDED TO YOU. It's middle-class WELFARE. So are "SCHOLARSHIPS." Go work it out in the free market.

To 2:32AM ~~ I disagree with you about scholarships, especially if they are based upon academics. In that event, they are truly earned.

@2:32am
A young adult figuring out how to pay $6,000 a year in "in-state tuition" while also payin for their own apartment and living expenses is nothing short of amazing in this day and age.

This is exactly the type of person we should be applauding. Self-reliance and individual responsibility should be cornerstones of our society and this young person seems to demonstrate both.

To 5:24PM ~~ Please note, this piece came to me via email & not Facebook. For the record, I know of a couple of people who pretty much lived what the posting suggests ... and they survived to become contributing members of society, too ;)
