Swept Under The Rug ...

Posted To SCATS' Facebook Page Friday Night: "So I guess a dead man was found in the backseat of a Mercury Mountaineer in Toys R Us Parking lot (Greece) earlier today. Ridgeway Tow removed the car.. How come this was not on the news?????"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Buried on the MPNNews Website: A Greece resident reported that he was nearly robbed at gunpoint while mowing his lawn.
On Aug. 31, a Mt. Ridge Circle resident was on a riding lawnmower in his front yard.
An unknown black male reportedly put a long gun to his back and demanded money.
The resident told police that he pushed the gun away which caused one round to be discharged in the air.
According the police, the resident then punched the suspect in the face and the suspect left in a green car, thought to be a Toyota or Nissan.
I got stopped last night around 8:00 on Mill rd by what I thought was a DWI check point becasue they had about 6 GPD officers stopping every single car. They asked where i was coming from and where i was going. they had a side street closed off (I think it was Cedar Mill). The officer told me they a trying to break up a house party planned and advertised on Facebook. The party was supposed to take place at a forclosed on empty house and they were expecting between 300 and 500 people!! Their was at least 12 officers stopping cars and blocking the streets leading to house. 9/03/2011 11:38 AM
Suicides are not generally reported in the news.
Just more proof we all need to sell our houses and get out.
Greece is the new Detroit.
To 9:10AM ~~ Are you guessing?
Suicides aren't generally carried out in public locations.
That's right. Suicides are usually private.
We need to demand an answer from the police about why they hiding killings and covering up for black robbers running around with shotguns in broad daylight threatening people innocently riding lawnmowers. Jeez...did you read the MPN piece? Guy's lucky he didn't get shot. Or a bystander.
It's a travesty.
Why are they hiding this?
More of the same. Closed, clubby and corrupt.
To 11:38AM ~~ It will be interesting to see if hear anything "official" about this. Thanks for the info!
To 12:01PM ~~ VERY INTERESTING! Thank you!
To 12:41PM ~~ Which just goes to show that local media are kept quiet about a lot of things. Many suicides get into the news, unless you live in Mayberry where the perception must remain that it doesn't happen here.
This house has just been sold back to the bank.
Those party goers sure did their homework. Nice place to have a party. 3300 square ft.
It's good to know that this private drive has their own private police force to protect it. I will have to call Bax the next time we are traveling. See the link:
I'm wondering, has Chief Todd (or anyone else) been keeping track of the number of bodies found/left around Greece in the 18 mo. since he became chief?
1 - There was the body found in the apt. bldg. parking lot on Mt. Read Blvd. and
2 - the guy who was shot twice and collapsed on Mt Read near Kodak Bldg 205 and
3 - now a body found in the rear of a car parked in the Toys-R-Us lot.
Did I leave any out? So far, no one has told us anything official about any of these crimes/situations!
SCATS you are just so jealous because everyone adores Chief Baxter.
Complain complain complain that's all you ever do.
To 3:29PM ~~ What does he have for me to be jealous of? I'm not interested in his group of has-been cheerleaders ... a group of middle-aged, starry-eyed badge bunnies who think lusting over/chasing after a married guy in uniform is OK.
This week's nomination for best under the rug stuffing should go to North Greece Fire Department! Hey Mr & Mrs Taxpayer are you aware North Greece Union Firemen and volunteers are riding around the Southern part of the State in equipment you paid for burning fuel you'll pay for so they can pump water out of flooded cellars?
How much will this little gesture of goodwill cost you?
Union Firemen are being PAID to pump cellars outside NG Fire District, YOU pay them.
NG equipment is being worn out, YO pay to replace it.
Neither expense will be paid from 2% money.
Want to bet NG Fire Tax goes up come January?
Do you remember voting for North Greece to become a Statewide agency? Do you remember even being asked?
What next from the Union boys in the 7 million dollar firehouse?
The man they found in the Toys R Us parking was a city police officer. He committed suicide Do to marital problems. The City police was protecting his reputation and not put into the news. Remember everyone is connected. So hush hush was done as usual.
oh yea, The new chief is adored. And how many officers still there using their badge to live behind and still do what they want. Does this adorable chief realize what his people do be hind his back. Does anyone who is in law enforcement knows anything besides owing each other favors or keep it a hush hush. Not just Greece, But all over?
