So now we're taking scientific poll results on community sentiment from a guy who works at a deli?

This will help that deli business. People will be in the area and go there. Sometimes shoppers like to just run in and not have to park half mile away. The deli might have to improve its puny parking lot. That's good for business.
Dewey Ave will look like Chili Avenue though near the Walmart at Chili and Howard in Gates. Very busy and very profitable for commerce. Not so good for quiet living in the near houses. Sorry.
Where in Greece is there anywhere for that quiet living? Anything that costs less than $250,000 that is. Same goes for Fairport and Pittsford and even Victor near Eastview mall. We are a nation of commercialism and sprawl because people want to be near the products. You have to live out quite far from the city to have quiet and then you have to have septic instead of public sewers.
So don't feel too bad Northgate neighbors. The rest of us are right there with you.

To 7:22PM ~~ Not all businesses in that vicinity have room to expand their "puny parking lots." Then what? Gridlock ;)

None of them can expand on that side of Dewey. They will have to get creative. They should plan ahead for the improved business. Maybe they can do a co-op with some other businesses at the vacant Wegmans property. Out of the box scats.

The Wegmans property is going to be leased or sold to be used as a car wash. Word is that delta sonic is interested and bidding. They will have to get approval from the town. Maybe the other business could use the old bank at Leonard and Dewey.
