Yes, I know it's a joke. However, this video has fooled so many people. Why? Because it's so close to the reality of what kids are exposed to in public education.

I think a couple of these girls might be republican candidates...

Anyone who was "fooled" by this video is less intelligent than the women portrayed by the actresses in this video.

And it's not really a "joke." The video was made to point out how ridiculous people who don't want the "theory of evolution" taught in schools.

Pure insanity...

They were recruited for this joke video at a Tea Party rally in Georgia. Only the brightest were chosen (and had to have all their teeth!)

I think I recognize some of my former students in that video. :-)

To 9:08AM ~~ Actually, the video has made the email "FWD" rounds and yes, lots of folks thought it was real. In the video you posted a link for, Miss Calif "Believes in the Big Bang Theory." I doubt she has any concept of what that theory is. Too many of the women in YOUR video sound like the ones in the video SCATS posted.

My fav. video is this one:

To 11:58AM ~~ I think I recognize some of my neighbor's kids ... the ones who didn't graduate after 3 tries ;)

Is Big Bang Theory still on Monday nights this year?

It seems the offered link on the video shows where the origin of the satire was conceived, the interview with many contestants of the Miss USA pageant. The satire did a very good job of aping the mannerisms and hand choreography of the pageant women. Never let it be said that the pageant circuit was anything but bible belt conservatives. Even though northern representatives usually attend schools in that state but come from deep south. I wonder what they would say when prompted by the term "interracial marriage"?

To 3:37PM ~~ They might say that marriage shouldn't involve racing ;)
