Could those be goals for both the district and the board? So far their goals are "having more meetings".
I want the new superintendent to , first order of business, make her office more "accessible" to the public physically and philosophically. Just like Lyndonsville. Downstairs and not guarded.
Presently they use the "fear factor" from Columbine of protecting the students to really be keeping all of us away from the central office.
For example, we were kept in the dark about how little the previous interim was out of his office. In fact no one was in his office including the assistants. He was paid, nonetheless. We are all considerate of people going through an illness but we are not so patient with non-disclosure of work attendance. Also if he was away that much and not missed, maybe we need to trim more staff at the upper level.

To 12:40PM ~~ Yes, they could be goals for both, but I was hoping to see if the BOE was smart enough to remember that from last year ;)
