Auberger Admits Relationship With Neusatz ...

WHEC-TV : Monday afternoon, Auberger issued a statement saying, “Monica Neusatz and I were involved in a relationship at the time of her death. I was interviewed about this relationship as a part of the investigation of this tragedy. Despite claims to the contrary, I fully cooperated with the Greece Police Department and the Monroe County District Attorney’s office and I am sorry that the Neusatz family is having to relive this tragedy.”

YNN: According to the Republican Party, John Auberger is not married, and has not been married for several years.

Translation of Republican Party Statement: "Auberger wasn't cheating because he wasn't married ..."

SCATS ~~ It's not like he didn't know she was married or that her hubby was away playing piano with Len Hawley at the Senior Center while he was banging Monica at home.

RADIO INTERVIEW of Chief Todd who divulges that Johnboy was the ONLY interviewee who lawyered up to answer questions about his calls with Neusatz.

Chief Todd's Press Release

SCATS ~~ Hmmm ... he's been such a busy guy ... and I thought he was planning to "Spruce Up Greece!" Maybe he should start by cleaning up at Greece Town Hall ...  Makes us wonder if this is payback for two Rahn's convicted ... hmmm ... has Chief Todd been helping to cover this up?

Here we go again....did Augie go to the police with info, did he tell Chief Baxter he had phone conversations with the victim or did he sit and wait for the police to come to him? Also, I thought he had a steady girlfriend (who along with her sons works for the Town).

I understand he is also having his annual fundraiser soon, $250 a person - why? He can't run for supervisor again per town law, what is he going to do with the money? Just build his nestegg? Come on Augie give the business people and your employees a break, cancel the fundraiser.

Do 2 Rahn's make a right.

To 11:39PM ~~ I thought the term limits didn't include Auggie, that he had grandfathered himself in. During the radio interview, Chief Todd says Auggie lawyered himself up to be questioned during the investigation. Wonder why ... ?

To 12:09PM ~~ Two Rahn's make a mess for Uncle Auggie to "Spruce Up!" ;)

Now would be a good time to bow out gracefuLee!

To 1:01PM ~~ Reference to another paramour???

He won't last 24 more hours in office

Did the son kill her when he found out his mother was cheating on his dad? Is the dad going to sue Jack for his loss? Talk about a real home wrecker!!!

Maybe Auberger has met his match in Baxter...we can hope.

So was Augie there when the attack occurred and did he run like a scared kid? Or worse yet, was he that catalyst for the attack?

If Auberger resigns will there be an election or will one of his minions be appointed to replace him?

Anonymous said...

From listening to Baxter's radio interview, it's quite obvious that Auberger let the police find his phone number. He didn't speak up.

The guy is and has been a total scum bag for years now. How he has survived this long is beyond me.

He has to big an ego to quit. He sickens me. I love this town and we would all be better off without him as our supervisor. He must like his women. Rumors a few years ago went around that he was messing around with Maggie Brooks!

gracefuLEE like the congressman that resigned after he was exposed as having made not very wise choices.
This supervisor should resign. He is not to be trusted with his friend's wife. This woman's husband worked with Len Hawley for many Town Senior Center events so he is a contract worker for Greece.
Our supervisor allowed others to take the blame for the wrongdoings of his police department and got away with it by saying he didn't remember.
If this had happened under the previous police administration the phone numbers of the supervisor would never have been identified. That evidence would have been lost and he would have skated. The new police administration didn't know they were supposed to protect the boss. Let us all heave a sigh of relief that this indiscretion has seen the light of day and he will be obliged to resign. Then we might have a chance of a clean town government.

was it a town paid for phone that he was using?

why does this makes news now? this was rumored all the way back to november.

5:39 good question. Another one would be why were the people that knew this information keeping it to themselves up until the son of the former police chief was prosecuted and found guilty of felony and misdemeanors. Maybe promises were made for protection in return for silence and someone didn't keep the "promise".
There is a man in jail who knows what is in the closets of town hall. Let's hope there is more to come.

Maybe he can retire and work at the school distinct with all the other sex offenders

So apparently John Parinello has volunteered to represent Mr. Neusatz. This is getting more interesting...

I am shocked he could remember, what will Chaterton and the rest of his lackeys do without him?

You know....I'm not defending Auberger's affair. It was wrong. But I think it's very insensitive to be shooting around coarse remarks when Monica has a son who is hurting beyond belief. In April his Uncle committed suicide. 5 months later his mom is murdered by his brother and now everyone is passing judgment and trashing his mom over what happened when you all have no idea whatsoever what any of this is or was all about. It's real easy to play the judge - but until you walk in someone's shoes you'll never really know. Give the kid a break will you? Let it rest.

To 6:58PM ~~ I don't see much of anything posted here or said anywhere else that passes judgment on Monica Neusatz. She is NOT the topic. JOHN AUBERGER, SUPERVISOR FOR THE TOWN OF GREECE IS THE TOPIC AT HAND. He is an elected official, paid for by all of us and has had given us 13+ yrs of scandal-laden service we could all have lived without. He was not forthright with the police, just as he has not been forthright with the community.

Ladies & Gentlemen, please direct your attention to the portal of the Time Machine. Back in the 40s it was Supervisor Gorgeous Gordon out 7 nights a week tending to the fine females of the County. When Gordon turned over the desk in Town Hall to Vince Tofany the tradition continued over at the Holiday Inn on Ridge Rd, and did so quite openly. When Swine 1 egressed 800 car the night of the fire his first question to firemen was "Where is Supervisor Tofany?". Fortunately Vince was safe.

George Badgero had his hands full keeping an eye on his Harvest Queen daughter, so he didn't have time to hunt.

Do you really want to talk about Don Riley? Need we go farther than mentioning his wife dropping by a Church function so she could castigate Don for his whoring habits?

Alas we have John Auberger. I've stood toe to toe with the man, looked over his shining scalp knowing he was not a spokesman for the Hair Club for Men, and wondered how the hell he could get laid in a whorehouse with a fist full of Fiftys. He ain't exactly dragging top shelf back to the apartment these days but he ain't hitting the bottom of the bucket either. He attends Mass frequently and I'm certain donates generously to the Church.

How many men in his age group don't envy him if for nothing else than his scorecard? Greece can be proud of our Supervisor's proud erect stance if nothing else. He's a testament to the effectiveness of Viagra.

I find it Ironic that some on this site choose to turn these comments against the police department. They seem to have done everything by the book. Can you imagine how the old command would have handled this. I have dealt with both administrations and there is no comparison. Chief Baxter and his command return calls and seem to work countless hours. I am sure some of those making the comments are the people who were forced to leave. The real crime in the whole aubbie/police scandle was that Bill Mackin and Steve Wise were never prosecuted and allowed to retire. I would like to see all of the REAL reasons they left hit the paper. There is never any mention on this board of all the things M.R. got away with and why Steve Wise was never even called to testify at the trial. It is time for a new leader of the Town but the Chief and his command are ok by me.

SCATS said...

To 8:08AM ~~ I'm not sure they did everything "by the book." Baxter admitted that the cops told Mr. Neusatz about Auberger's relationship with his late wife and stated that's not typically done. Baxter & Co. kept Auggie's affair "secret" for months ... to what end? So Chief Todd could continue to get everything he wanted on his ever-growing wish list fulfilled in return? It seems like that possibility exists, even if it might have been subconconsciously.

Regarding Steve Wise, I said several times during the Rahn mess that there was no way that man should be allowed to skate! Worse yet, he was HANDED A SWEET DEAL that including teaching Criminal Justice at SUNY Brockport. But then, I'd expect nothing less from Auggie's internal mole to Rahn's PD.

Folks, lets get real here.
Do ya really think the Greece cops don't know where Hairburger is dipping his sword?

I well recall one GPD member honkering down in the brush at Barnard Exempts to snap pictures of Swine 1 & Nancy the Councilman's wife going at it in 800 car. That officer was promoted to Sargent and a sweet job was created for him to retire from.

Did it make a bit of difference to the investigation that Hairburger was dipping his pen in the inkwell of the deceased? NO, it did not!

In police investigations it is just not the norm for a man in a position similar to the Hairburger to call or drop by the PD to announce you'll be learning he was boinking the deceased. That's why phones get dumped and numbers called get backtracked.

Was the fact Hairburger boinked the victim important to the investigation? Other than it being entertaining to the cops, probably not.

Was it unusual for the Hairburger to lawyer up? Hell NO! Anybody with an IQ above room temperature lawyers up today. Was it another favor from Bernie to John, perhaps paying back a favor? Probably.

Get real folks, we got us a horney swordsman sitting on the second floor of Town Hall. He's carrying on the tradition of Greece Supervisors since 1940.

To 12:58PM ~~ What's important is whether or not Auggie was making/receiving calls from his paramour using Town owned/taxpayer funded phones. Was he doing it on the job, i.e. on the clock? Why was he able to recall details of a ballgame a whole month later when under oath he couldn't recall who he put in charge of GPD when Rahn was out with his broken wrists? Why is it that he is allowed to get hours of notice, lawyer up and potentially research the details on a Yankees game he says he watched and it's accepted as his only required alibi? Anyone could have gotten that baseball game info by reading online (thank you Lonsberry for pointing this out on your show earlier today!). Chief Todd himself kept musing in his interviews that they never figured out WHY MONICA WAS MURDERED ... but I think we've all got lots more insight into it now.

Hey 1258 maybe it would be ok if Augie swings by your house for lunch while you are at work because that apparently is the way things work in Greece and you should be ok with it. I think that is garbage and we as tax payers and citizens of Greece should demand more from our elected officials no matter what party they are. No wonder the town is the laughing stock of the county, we have been desensitized and have enabled the behavior from these clowns. I can only wonder who is the next chosen one in line, Helfer or Anteli? We might as well give up any hope now for anyone to come in and clean this mess up.

Gee, Hairburger could stop by my place while I'm at work, wouldn't really bother me much at all. I'm pretty sure the wife ain't looking for companionship, and he'd need to go to her office to ask her at that time of day.

Antelli ain't too likely to come back to Greece office. he wanted to Primary Hairburger last election since he term limited out, so Mr Beauty Shop was moved downtown and his wife was given a job in the Clerk's office so the County could pick up their health care. Antelli doesn't have any more currency, and he ain't half the man his father was when it comes to politics.

Antelli was also VERY tight with Rahn, that white car spent a lot of time at the plaza. Antelli was also tight with a couple Greece command officers who RETIRED suddenly. He's well known for being a backstabber, like when he tried exposing another politician's kid for a crash involving a Greece snowplow that got covered up real fast. Antelli was actually going to retired people from outside of Greece trying to get 911 records.

You don't want to trust Antelli behind you, unless you're into that kind of thing. Rick sure likes going on overnighters and doesn't mind sharing a room to keep expenses down.

I think it is interesting that the Assessor and his staff are in Lake Placid for the week doing some professional development training yeah right. You know who works in the assessors office under you know who else. Interesting timing. Wait a minute you cant do this kind of stuff closer to home you have to go to a resort town. Oh yeah its not on your dime its on ours. I think I'm gonna lose my lunch.

DAMN,
I'm heading off to Lake Placid. There's a couple gals in the Ass essor's office I'd like to be better acquainted with.

I'll tell them John Auberger sent me, ought to put me in like Flynn
