Point ... Counterpoint

Atty. John Parrinello alleges Bob Neusatz was stone-walled by TV & print media, GPD & others so he retained John Parrinello on the advice of a friend.

The D&C defends going with the Auberger story ... after the story was already out.

I don't think so. I believe that our chief of police has been up front with all of the information and certainly put out with the actions of John Auberger.
My thought is that Parrinello seeked Bob out and offered free counsel. I feel bad for Bob to nice of a guy to have to go throught this. Auberger should resign. For the position he holds he has crossed the line of morality and values conflict.
At least Chris Lee had enough self respect for himself and for others that he resigned with no question.
That is a man!!!! What is Auberger?

To 10:38PM ~~ Your thoughts are not in sync with the facts. I suggest you listen to the Parrinello interview carefully and also look at the videos posted interviewing Neusatz on the D&C's website.

Than can you explain what the facts are and how its not in sync as you say cuz i'm not getting your point.

To 12:13AM ~~ I could, but I'll let you read for yourself.

Good interview with Parinello. It explains much. The town government did not let the widower have the information until the media went with the story? The interview and questioning of Auberger was in a "comfort" area (his own lawyers ofice) for Auberger so it was not the same as the rest of us being interviewed. The state police should have conducted his questioning.
And now we find out that Auberger had 2 phone conversations with the victim the night before the death not the morning of the day before. That shows that it is possible that this was a pattern and she was going to get a phone call from him that night she was killed.
The son told the first responders he was afraid she was "going to leave". The Yankees games were a tradition with the 2 lovers according to Parinello since Auberger told the widower(face to face meeting encouraged by chief Baxter) with a "smile on his face" about how she was sometimes at his residence and they watched together as they were "fans". .

I think John Auberger is a heck of a nice guy. Chuck and I had dinner with him Monday and he was in good spirits.

Re: The new poll;
You need another honest option:
3. A waste of money because there is nothing worth investigating. (one vote; mine).

I trust Parinello just about as far as I can throw him and I doubt I could even pick him up

To 7:40AM ~~ I agree it was quite insightful.

To 10:15AM ~~ Chuck? Chuck who?

To 10:29AM ~~ Perhaps so, but I chose to try to keep it as simple as possible. I can't change it now so maybe you could ignore the reason and just vote based on the negative position.

To 11:42AM ~~ And I trust John Auberger even less. His supporters are few and far between these days. Even the air around him has started to stink.

The emergency meeting that resulted this investigation is only a ploy to try to quiet down the residents. You know the saying,
"Time heals all" and I believe it also gives them time to come up with enough pros vs. cons on John Auberger's behalf.

They will not find anything that implicates Auberger with this murder or anything more than he had made poor judgement.

Chris Lee made a similar but more harmless mistake and he was man enough to say and take action that he was wrong and resigned. I believe his apology was not at all as apathetic as Auberger's. Obviously, Chris Lee is a better man than our Town Supervisor.

actually viz Chris Lee I think that
1) He had warned by his superior John Boehner to tone it down and didn't. He could have faced action even in Congress controlled by his own party and 2) more stuff was around.

Whale 2 may exist in Auberger's case 1 does not seem to apply

I agree, just a sham by the town board orchestrated by Augie. Have you seen or heard one thing from any of individual town board members? NO, he wont let them say anything. Augie, just step down now, mccan can take over and then when he runs in a few years he will be the incumbent(you know the plan, just move up the timeline)....smoke and mirrors folks!

What ever happen too the old saying, "you want to play, then you got too pay".

Auberger, it is time too pay! You need to listen and hear that many want you too resign, pay up fool!

Cuomo says there is widespread financial fraud in education.

10:51 - Cuomo must be wrong because we have school boards looking after the taxpayers $$ - right?
You here it all the time how 'this spending' will improve educational outcomes - right?
This 'contract' will cost XX $$ but our results will improve thanks to x,y,and z in this contract.
This is what school boards do - right?
School boards have been telling us for years that all we need to do is 'spend more money' - right?

Sorry, I guess Cuomo was right.
