A Plea To The Greece Town Board

I hope that Town Board Members read this.

You are in a position where you can do the right thing. Doing nothing confirms to many of us that you are indeed Auberger's rubber stamp. Each of you probably have the idea to forward your political career. How can we have confidence to vote for anyone of you if you are not going to stand up for what is right and good for our town.

Be a hero in our books and at the next town board meeting ask to speak and request that Auberger resign. Do the right thing and many will follow behind you, support your efforts and remember to vote for you at election time because of your leadership, morals and values.

PS. I am not a democrat writing this!  3/29/2011 4:34 PM

SCATS ~~ We're halfway to the time when the report on the investigation by Speranza is due to be completed. The SCATS poll results show well over 85% of respondents believe this investigation is just wasting our hard-earned money. Do the right thing. Get Auberger out now!

I am from Mars and I think Auberger needs to go.

Really, I am from Mars and I am NOT a Democrat.

Why won't you people believe me when I say that I am NOT a Democrat, am from Mars, and believe Auberger must go?

SCATS said...

To 8:49AM ~~ I believe that you believe you are from Mars & that Auberger ought to go. I am from Greece and I KNOW that Auberger MUST GO!

Why is he still here

President Bill Clinton had an affair and got to keep his job, but the Supervisor of the town of Greece had an affair and should resign from his? Both are public servants and both made poor personal choices. What's the difference?

It is silly to call for that resignation before they get a report back. That has nothing to do with your party registration. Just plain silly to request that at this time.

To 9:58AM ~~ If you want to believe it's about an affair, go ahead and keep your head in the sand. This is about the continued poor decision-making and lack of character on the back of a scandal-ridden public servant who made his new police chief come to him instead of going to Baxter himself. The "difference" is there was a M-U-R-D-E-R involved. Capisce??

To 10:08AM ~~ The "report" is to "investigate statements Auberger made to Greece police during and after the Neusatz murder investigation." This is basically a HUGE WASTE of time, $$ and effort. Why? Because we have a new Police Chief who is supposed to be top notch, according to both Auberger AND Loszynski, our $1,000,000+ man, remember? If you believe that we need to investigate what was investigated under Baxter's watch, then we're in some really deep doo-doo here. But then I know you already know that ;)

AUBERGER MUST GO. PERIOD.

Oh, so Clinton would have been forced to resign if his mistress was murdered by one of her family members. Got it.

SCATS said...

To 10:36AM ~~ Have you forgotten, Clinton WAS impeached?

Let's refresh our collective memories about Auberger's scandals:

Rahn's Missing Gun

The Assessor's Scandal

The Police Dept. Scandal

The Neusatz Affair

How many people are serving jail time under Johnny's watch?

And there are so many honest politicians to choose from to replace him. Be careful what you wish for.

SCATS said...

To 11:03AM ~~ Because of people like John Auberger, the phrase "honest politician" has become an oxymoron ;)

Until someone asks for a real independent investigation from a law enforcement agency on the whole town including the Loszynski investigation nothing will change. How can the town be allowed to keep investigating itself, where are the Democrats? Why are they not demanding the Attorney General or FBI come in and do the investigation. Ontario County just had the FBI come in over sexual harassment, I guess they do not have enough agents for what they would find in the town.

The answer: Move out to a respectable place like the city

I believe the investigation is to determine in detail, if Auberger had any criminal involvement in the crime. The question of a person having an affair with a married woman is the type of person that we want to be the town leader is a question of morality. I think your blog responses indicate pretty solidly that such morality is not appropriate for the Supervisor.
If Auberger stays, he may well drag the Republican party out of power at the next election. If the Democrats can run a qualified candidate, they should be able to make great progress in the town.

SCATS said...

To 7:37AM ~~ I don't think people's outrage & disgust with Auberger has much to do with him having an affair. I'm hearing it's his CONSTANT & CONTINUED VEERING OFF THE MORAL PATH that's causing him issues. He is NO leader. He is NO role model. He's taking everyone in town down with him after all of these scandals and negative headlines.

7;37 the democrats have got a real credibility problem due to their cozy relationship with public unions.
It could be their Waterloo.

I think it is good that the democrats defend public unions. All of our rights are under attack. There is little evidence to show public unions are the problem in our country GE make gazillions and pays no taxes. Many wealthy people are paying effective tax rates lower than middle class. Our leaders give themselves raises st will Get you act together if you want to be serious,

SCATS said...

To 2:42PM ~~ GE makes gazillions and CREATES JOBS. I don't believe your statewment that they pay no taxes. Most union shops these days are downsizing, in case you hadn't noticed.

And guess who the democrats are all kissie with? Yep the president of GE.

The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.

Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.

Are you people for real???? The town is corrupt on every level and you equate it to national issues with the Democrats. I guess it is part of being in denial, GIVE UP NOW and rejoice that you live in the worst town in America.

Anonymous said...

A plea??? Sounds like you gave up, how about demanding full discloser from the town and demand the town board be investigated.

SCATS said...

To 7:07PM ~~ Thank you. I heard about it on the news tonight.

To 7:54PM ~~ That option is ALWAYS available ;)

It would be very satisfying if the supervisor was served with one of these suits.
