Moving Up ... and Out?

The D&C reports: The Wheatland-Chili Board of Education has announced three finalists for superintendent of schools. By the Jan. 7 deadline, 30 applications were received. After screening interviews were conducted by the district's search consultants, seven semifinalists were interviewed by the Board of Education and a representative of the teachers and administrators.

The three finalists are: Cynthia DeDominick, superintendent of Madison Central School District, Madison County; Deborah Hoeft, assistant superintendent for student services at Greece Central School District; and Deborah Leh, assistant superintendent for student learning at Clarkstown Central School District, Rockland County.

Finalists are scheduled to return to the district today for interviews with three school-community groups. After the interviews, the board will meet to decide on the next stages in the hiring process.

I think she will get the job. She does a good job of selling herself and thinks well on her feet. But maybe someone will read this blog and pass on the word!

We could only be so lucky as to let Wheatland-Chili take out our garbage. I say we won't be so lucky.

Shhhh! Enough already. Now that Hoeft is a finalist, keep the lid on her incompetence. If the D&C picks up on this and can verify the one million dollar screw up, it will print the story and this would kill Hoeft's chances of getting the job and, horror of horrors, she will stay.

If Wheatland-Chili picks her, our loss will be their pain.

Deb Leh was also in the administrative cabinet during the Waltz era. So that makes two Greece finalists.

SCATS - look into the multi. improper labor practices at Autumn Lane. The Supt.'s Cabinet will look at the charges on Tuesday.

Seriously folks. There can't be a dumber BOE than Greece has. There is no way Hoeft is going to get hired. We are going to be stuck with her forever unless the BOE fires her.

Maybe though there is a back door deal with GCSD and Wheatland. They hire her, GCSD pays for one year, and then Wheatland fires her. NYS Pension will much better for it.

To 4:44PM ~~ The proper terminolgy is "passing the trash" a practice Greece Central is well schooled in. We did it with Achramovitch ... let him "retire" and leave unscathed so he could destroy another district in the future.

To 7PM ~~ And how am I to do this? How about providing the info?

Maybe Greece can hire Leh as superintendent. She was good enough for Meg to hire her downstate, she's good enough to run Greece.

I'll work for cheap. And I am very good a pissing people off. I should go to the top of the list.

My first act will be to have only one official school board meeting per year and have that meeting will held behind closed doors. It will be a personnel matter. The purpose of the meeting will be to have the board agree to support all superintendent decisions for the next year. This will a save a lot of administrative time as well. Genious!!

(It is like it is now, but with the added advantage of savng administrative and public time)

Well, looks like Deb Hoeft is the laughing stock of Wheatland Chili, so we will be stuck with her million dollar mistakes and incompetent decisions for a while. She doesn't know this yet...but she DID NOT get the job. Sorry Debbie, words out on you.
