Probably lucky one state senator wasn't in the area. He'd probably sue for getting spattered with blood, or bothered while shopping.
Hat's off to these young men for getting involved to help a bystander! We need lots more people with a sense of concern like these two!

To 11:27AM ~~ Well said! We need many more like them. Their parents should be VERY proud!

What does "move over J-Mac" mean?

To 9:28PM ~~ It means get out of the way and ready to be replaced.

9:28 J-mac didn't ask for the notoriety but it was planned and orchestrated by the adults in charge. They are now getting speaking engagements and bringing him along as a prop. The coach has made a good business of that incident as a tool for his speaking career. Well played. But scoring points in a game whether you are disabled or fully capable developmentally does not make one into a hero. Saving a drowning person or in this case risking their own safety to save another stranger is heroism.

Here is his website. Not planned? Riiiiight. He knew that the kid could get a basket or this never would have happened. He is a genius to have planned this. We are the marks. More fool us.
