Who's In Charge Of the Greece Central School District?

It's my understanding that the interim Superintendent has been diagnosed with a very serious illness and that his secretary has left the district to accept a position elsewhere. The lights to O'Rourke's office have been off and the doors locked during his absence.

No wonder there have been no meetings since Nov. 15th and none scheduled until Dec. 14th ... a whole month in between!

There is a superintendents 2nd which has been for a long time Nadolinski. Sorry about the temporary superintendent though. Our district has procedures in place to handle vacancies for the short term. That is true whether it is teachers or aides of custodians or principals or superintendents.

To 10:41AM ~~ He's the deputy supt. by title, correct? Just because we have a procedure means nothing. We have policies & procedures that we ignore all of the time. Greece excels at ignoring rules.

I wish him well!

Are you new? The BOE runs the show in Greece. Not very well though.

To 2:21PM ~~ Nope, not new! I thought the BOE ran things, too. But that was when they were having meetings every few days. Now, it looks like they are playing dead in our time of need. Where is the balance? Oops! I forgot, lack of balance is another hallmark of a completely dysfunctional system.

They must be out doing damage control for the transportation dept.

Annie, your compassion for his health is remarkable. You know the Board does not run the district. You and Charlie do.
