Wondering why each and every year I have to vote in a church, which requires me to pass by all of the various propaganda, er, literature left out conveniently for me should I want to convert.

Why aren't we using public schools and other public buildings for this? Churches? Seriously?

Can anyone tell me why the DMV is closed on Election Day?
Wake up, Maggie and Cheryl, this is an era when stores are staying open longer, on weekends and holidays- Sears is even staying open extended hours on Thanksgiving. It's called being accessible to your customers.
It's early, but here's a voting statement: I will vote for the candidates for County Clerk and Executive who tells me that the DMV will be open on Election Day after they are elected.

11:27 You are right to complain! I use the Hallmark rule: If there isn't a card for it, it isn't a holiday so get to work!

11:11 I think churches are asked because they have large parking lots, are conveniently located, aren't busy on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, and get exempted from taxes. It's part of the payback...
If the literature bothers you, just ignore it the way the rest of us ignore the political ads

Greece schools are no longer used for the safety of the students. There is a concern about the sex offenders and strangers wondering around in the schools.

To 11:27:
If the Clerk's Office is open, who is going to hand out Vince Dinolfo stickers?

11:11: I don't know what your problem is. The Manitou Rd McMegaChurch was very helpful at their candidate's night (only patriotic Republican candidates invited) instructing me who to vote for. I don't have any idea why some think the IRS should look into the matter.

Vote well, vote often, don't discriminate against the dead.

Ever hear of the separation of church and state? And a church telling you who to vote for? I hope you're joking.

To 8:03PM ~~ I got the sarcasm. Do you get the truth contained within it?
