SCATS ~~ I've received word that the NYS Education Dept.'s count INCLUDES Regents/midterm/finals days in GCSD's count of the 186 days shown for HS, as well as professional development days when students are NOT in school. For the 2010-2011 school year, the actual number of days of in school classroom instruction for Greece is 177 at elementary (but might include 2 "early release days" for elementary which NYSED counts as full days), 176.5 days for middle school and 170 days for HS.

Was the comment on the number of days or the number of instructional hours in a day?
