Has District Office Lied To The Greece School Board?

I'm hearing (yet again) that Whistle Blower Case #9769039 has NOT been resolved satisfactorily, despite claims made by DO staff that all is well!

I'm also hearing that the potential forthcoming lawsuit & settlements may make the prior EEOC determinations look like childs-play.

Why don't our BOE members check into this themselves?  It may save the taxpayers of Greece a lot of $$ and themselves a lot of embarrassment!"

Board members, here's the phone number: 877-841-4273

Everything is fine. There's nothing to see here. Move along. Everything is under control.

I have a whistle and I can blow if called upon to do so, too.

As an employee who needs to keep my job in this economy, I have to keep my mouth shut. Talk to the whistle blower and your gone. They know what is going on and just don't care, and they sure as hell are not going to fix anything. As always in Greece, management and administration protects themselves.

To 5:28PM ~~ You're correct. The message on the Whistle Blower hotline reminds me of the whoppers told during BOE meetings. Worse yet is the fact that the whoppers are believed, hook, line and sinker. Our BOE are quite gullible. It's part of the feel good/go along mentality most all assume at some point.

I called the hotline....if the information listed there is not the correct information, what can be done about it? How come this person is not held accountable? It sounds as if this person is taking money from our District and doesn't really care about it. Isn't that fraud?

5:16 Good link. And no matter how much you make when you decide or are forced to retire there might be no money left in Social Security for you and (except for government employees) you will have to live on your own savings or SIP Kodak or 401K. That is a finite number that will go away probably years before you are laid to rest. Could the media interview some cross section of people 65 and up around this area that are living on what they are doling themselves on their retirement and compare them to public employees relaxed retirement finances. Most people that were retired and are late 70's and up still had some retirement that was a lifetime pension. That ended for most companies including Kodak. There are many older people in this area at least that will run out of funds in about 10 years and will not be able to work because they will be too elderly. What is going to happen then? Homeless elderly?

Maybe our new SRO officer can look into this if it is a crime!
