GCSD: Opportunity To Sell Stored Steinway

Craiglist ad (see below) seeks sellers of Steinway pianos. This is an opportunity for the cash-strapped Greece School District to recover some of the $100,000 wasted on this "asset" that sits in storage. Has ANYONE actually ever seen it, let alone played it?

How much a year does it cost to keep the marvelous instrument in the climate controlled room? Why isn't there at least a window into the room so taxpayers can see the investment resting comfortably?

Is there a form students can fill out in triplicate to seek the privilidge of touching the piano.

Hell, does the piano even exist?

Do we still have those wonderful stage elevators in storage someplace? Ho do handicapped children get on stage now?

When will GCSD discover what they got cheated out of by Crapstar Construction next, and how much will it cost the taxpayers to repair/retrofit?

What videos is GCSD making with their marvelous TV studio that didn't exist till somebody tripped over it? Are they letting the kiddies make student on student porn tapes? How about teacher on teacher porn tapes? Some of those teachers might be fun to watch!

How about a TV camera focused on the piano in it's climate controlled home 24/7 linked to the District web site. We could all covet the superpiano.

So so many questions, no answers. A GCSD tradition.

"Haven't I seen your face before?" a judge demanded, looking down at the defendant.

"You have, Your Honor," the man answered hopefully. "I gave your son piano lessons last winter."

"Ah, yes," recalled the judge. "Twenty years!"
