Ooops ... We Almost Forgot ...

Monday June 7th ~
2 years since
Nick Joseph crashed on 390 and
changed the course of
The Town of Greece
forever.
Without this tragic event, our PD would be unscathed.
Our Town's coffers would be $1,000,000 richer.
Our Supervisor would have his memory back.
Our cops would be free to coke up, get drunk and disrespect the laws they are sworn to uphold.
The D&C would have no stories of intrigue, politics, corruption, nepotism AND scandal to report, like the one they published today.
May we never forget that it takes "JUST ONE" to make the dominoes begin to tumble.

So are you suggesting that you're pleased that Joseph almost killed that poor woman and that the resultant domino effect was a good thing? Poor phrasing there SCATS.

To 1:08PM ~~ There you go again, putting words into my mouth. Pleased is YOUR word choice, not mine.

I have an opinion on this that many may not agree with it.

I believe the Domino effect started in the late 90's, when we voted in a supervisor who allowed this kind a bull _hit to go on in our town.

The gun that was stolen in 1999 was no big deal then but in 2009 it was a big enough issue to have 5felony indictments brought up against Merritt Rahn. .

I just don't get it, Augie stated he did not hire Rahn but had to deal with him even though he admits to being Merritt's boss. He had the authority then to start an investigation but decided on getting a full memo stating what happen from Rahn a full year or better after the fact. I believe he repirmanded Rahn over the phone by saying that you need to be more careful with your gun. A decade later, 5 felony indictments for this one incident.

The best was when our supervisor was asked who was running our police department while Rahn was out on disabilty in 1999-2000. I believe the response was either, "I don't remember" or "I don't recall". I guess we were fortunate enough not to hear, I don't care!

In my opinion, The Domino effect started much ealier than when Nick J. was in that car crash, (much earlier)!

It's just the butterfly effect. That one bad decision by Nick Joseph could be seen as the cause of that tragedy on the expressway and thus the cause of the downfall of one Greece regime. So much uncovered because of that. The accident did not cause this but the decision-making of Nick Joseph caused it. And there were those that were aware of his addiction and did nothing. So they are responsible for their own eventual downfall.
Good allegory scats.
It seems that the cartoon shows the relationship of the accident to the revelation of the corruption in our police department. It appears to be an observation, not a portrayal of pleasure at the misfortune of all who have suffered at the hands of the corrupt and clubby police department.
Let us hope the department is not still harboring corruption as we try to figure out who leaked the information of the "anonymous source" to another policeman who allegedly leaked it to Arena. If our 911 calls identity are passed along to all the police force and they can then tell the criminals for revenge, we better stop calling unless it is a fire or illness.

no no Chuck. You got it all wrong. Many here DO agree with your attacking of Auberger. You're in the right place my friend. Please keep it up. It;s pretty much why we exist here. This is an anti-Auberger and anti-school district site. Welcome and please continue to blast away. Looking forward to your slamfest of Johnny at NGN. That group is much more fun now with its new focus.

morons ranting is a fine example of the failure of our local educational system

@SCATS 1:43 - no scats, I asked you a question. do you have trouble discerning between and question and a statement? I'll explain it to you if you want... slowly if needed. Awaiting your response on my original question please. ;)

To 8:21AM ~~ You asked me a question putting YOUR WORDS into MY MOUTH. I responded to that by pointing out it was YOUR WORD CHOICE. Now, you must rephrase your question using a different choice of words, if you want a response. It wouldn't hurt to change your tone either since you are teetering on the edge of getting your comment deep-sixed for bullying your Blogmeister ;)

BLOG Administration has rejected publishing another MoronsRanting type comment in the hopes of encouraging that person to find his way back to the village that misses him so much.

Why is that morons ranting relevant to these discussions? They seem to be more interested in party politics and the city.
