To The Driver Of Greece School Bus 866

WHO TAUGHT YOU TO PULL OUT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC FROM BOTH DIRECTIONS SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE A LEFT TURN WITHOUT WAITING?

You were in such a hurry to exit the parking lot at the Methodist Church on Maiden Ln at 3:15PM today that you forced traffic in both directions to come to a standstill just for you! You endangered everyone, including yourself!

Maybe it was the same driver who took my daughter's class on a field trip yesterday and didn't get directions causing them to miss a huge chunk of the trip!

The Greece and Hilton buses are getting more and more slack on stopping for red lights. They figure if they make it through before the other traffic starts it is ok. From the movie Starman...red means stop, green means go and yellow means go very very fast. That must be part of the new training as they practice for the annual "Roadeo"

Don't get me wrong. I think school bus drivers are some of the most under-appreciated employees around, BUT this was a ridiculous and bold move by someone entrusted with the safety of many students every day. Hopefully, word will get back that they were observed.

A phone call to the Director of Transportation with date, time and bus number would be appreciated by the director.

Action can't be taken if she knows nothing about it.

Sincerely

To Doug ~~ I understand your view, but I've been there & tried that before. I figured this might get someone's attention more effectively ;)

The info is on the BLOG should anyone in mgmt care to talk to the driver.
