Parrinello Warned Again; GPD Cops Testify

"Am I frustrated? Yes I'm frustrated. Am I right? Yes I'm right." ~~ John Parrinello

Off. Brandon White testifies he was first to arrive at Joseph accident scene & later told by then Sgt Thomas Schamerhorn that he was taken off the case.

SCATS ~~ Every time I hear Schamerhorn's name I wonder how he was able to only get demoted after all he has done ...

According to the tweets....15 minutes ago Hyland was beginning to be questioned by the DA. 5 minutes ago just as Parrinello and Hyland were "getting into it" there was adjournement til Monday.
So that must have been a thoughtful and complete and organized series of questions from our DA's in 10 minutes. What a facade. They are going through the motions. Arrogant.
And what part of the Joseph case is constantly not allowed by Parrinello but the DA can have all their witnesses answer questions about it. It is absurd. I want to hear more about that case. I think we will find that many of our town and county officials and officers were at fault. This is kangaroo.
All Parrinello can do is bring these "hostile witnesses" in as he does his own defense part and question them. They would then be witnesses for the defense...although hostile witnesses.
Because on cross examination JP is not allowed to ask about anything that was not specifically touched upon by the DA in their direct. But if they are his own witnesses he can ask anything that is appropriate. I think he should subpoena the victim and the officers and Hyland and the people involved with the gun and the background check as his own witnesses. Then if the judge has a problem it could go on the record for the appeal. But maybe the judge will not be able to have a problem under those circumstances. Also they would be very frightened if he was questioning them on direct. The truth might come out.

To 3:59PM ~~ WHEC has posted a couple of videos. One is Parrinello being interviewed today. He states that he is doing everything he can to vigorously defend Rahn, even if he ends up in jail, because he must establish that he "has preserved the record" in the event of an appeal. He claims that every time he asks the judge to declare a mistrial it shows that he (Parrinello) is preserving the record to the fullest.

Yes scats I saw those videos and that is what gave me the idea of his calling any of those people as his defense witnesses. That way he is free to ask them any detail that needs clarification. Of course he does run the risk of opening the door to the prosecution to continue the questioning on their cross of those witnesses. If it was a chain of events that led to the chief not pursuing an investigation, that will come out with those people having to answer the questions that were not allowed on cross examination. Same for the lost gun problem and the background. It seems that the officer who said he considered Rahn to be his friend would be a good place to start. Or Auberger would be perfect.

Does anyone think a government official is credible that testifies he does not remember anything? The jury is able to assess each witness' credibility as they make their decision. And they have to err on the side of caution; if there is a shadow of a doubt, the defendant is not guilty. So far it looks like acquittal without the defense even presenting. And if he is convicted there is enough for an appeal to be granted regarding prejudice from the judge gagging the defense from questioning the prosecution witnesses about certain details.

To 7:13PM ~~ I don't think he's at all credible especially when you consider that he is the ONLY ONE to have such enormous troubles with memory out of dozens who are testifying.

I think I see the problem with the after hours club SCATS.

What Greece needs is a good beofre hours rub&tug massage happiness center. That way Stupidvisor Hairburger could arrive at the office all good to go so to speak. After all his memory has gone in the dumper since Joanne took him off for a house & job for her kid, and a little early morning wake me up might just be what Greece needs.

Funny how these legitimate massage parlors can open up in Greece without any trouble, and some poor shlub trying to open a lunchcounter is put throught he wringer by Town Board. Must be some fluke in the permitting process, or a failure by Code Enforcment.
