HEADS UP PARENTS!!

From the D&C police reports:

Menacing: Two children walking home from school were accosted by a male teen wielding a knife near Wildwood Drive and Tait Avenue on April 20. The teen drove away. No one was injured.
(I think "April" was a typo)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why is the item below in the Greece police reports when the address is in the city?
Robbery: An unknown suspect wielding a hammer demanded cash from the clerk at the adult book store Industrial Video and News, 1485 Mt. Read Blvd., on April 27. The robber fled in a vehicle that may have been a Pontiac Bonneville.
(Again, I think "April" is a typo)
Address is definitely in Greece. One block West of St. Joseph's Villa area of Dewey.
To 1:06PM ~~ My comment about the city was related to the Adult Store address on Mt. Read Blvd. According to Mapquest, that location is near Lexington Ave!
if you have access to a map with municipal boundaries, it shows a line a few hundred feet west of Mt. Read. The property address might very well be in the city and Greece.
To 1:33PM ~~ It can't be in BOTH! As you drive south on Mt. Read Blvd. you are already in city limits by the time you reach Kodak's Bldg #205 just north of Ridgeway Ave. The address of 1485 Mt. Read Blvd has a zip code of 14606 and is located just north of Lexington Ave. and slightly west of Mt. Read Blvd. If this isn't in the city, then I'd like to know when Greece decided to allow such a store to set up shop inside our borders. I recall a huge political debate over this idea a number of years ago, also at a Mt Read location.
I just looked up the property records through Monroe County. It shows that in that one building there is a restaurant located in Greece and an Adult Store located in the city. How convenient! It also shows that Pluta Realty sold the building in 1993, but it doesn't list the buyer ... hmmm ...
Wasn't that the place that had the controversy about the juice/nude bar? Not kidding.Some loophole in the NY law that allows total nudity if there is only non-alcoholic drinks. Also there was a politician involved in the property.
It was called Gentleman's Park Place from a google search of the address. Obviously that half is in the city. It used to be owned by Barry's as a restaurant. They are the owner's of Crescent Beach but have nothing to do with the strip club we can guess. Strip club is closed but the present company is advertised as adult videos and toys.
Oh wow ....."But Larimer said the city can't impose restrictions banning sexual activities such as self-fondling." Where's Auberger's clergy when you need them?
Millions of dollars have been made from self fondling in the City, and I ain't merely referencing sex clubs.
Of course no self fondling is permitted in Greece without Town Board & Zoning Board approval.
The CGCSD Board of Masturbation is covered under the Education Law, so their fondling is not regulated by the Town but rather by the State. GCSD probably even has a rule against District vehicles parking in front of strip clubs.
To 11:22PM ~~ Nobody diddles better than Greece politicians! They are skilled and practiced. And Greece has the Rub 'n Tug shops to prove it ;)
