Report Govt Waste

YNNews Reports: Brian Kolb (State Assembly, Rep.) announces the launch of a new website where NY'ers can report govt waste.

Stop NY Govt Waste Website ~~ YOU CAN REPORT ANONYMOUSLY!

SCATS ~~ Since people from Greece could potentially overwhelm the servers and bring this website to its knees in short order, let's focus on reporting school district waste for two weeks, then we'll switch to Town of Greece waste for the next two weeks ;)

Can we report our entire NY State govt for the monumental WA$TE they caused last Summer in Albany??

Isn't it interesting that Republicans seem to believe this isn't about them?

Dear Brian: I would like to report the entire New York State Assembly. Thank you for eliminating it!

I wonder if report of Republican misdeeds and waste get far less attention than democratic ones.

Actually, it's hysterical that Democrats think they're doing such a great job right now. Well, if by that they mean a great job at raising taxes and spending, then I guess they are doing a great job!

I cannot think of a bigger waste than liberals

Prime example 3:35pm - (Democrat) Governor Paterson spends $140 million of our money for welfare receipients to help buy Christmas presents and then raises DMV fees on working people to collect $129 million to help pay for it.

I think there is plenty of graft to go around

While having two legislative bodies that are both based on population may be the largest, most costly waste item in NYS, it is also the most difficult to eliminate. Two small steps that could be made are on the Thruway. At the large exits, we could have just one or two toll collectors and the rest EZPass only. We could save many, many paid positions. Since all lanes are equipped, no extra cost to implement! Second step for Thruway savings: eliminate the Thruway Authority and run with existing NYS departments.

To All Republicans:

Your great communicatior, Ron Reagan, started the big government deficit spending. Under his administration the national debt increased from 2 trillion to 4 trillion. He got a bigger military and skywars and the Dems got social programs.

Your other Republican George W. Bush increased the national debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion.

Clinton reduced the national debt.

So much for the Republican core values of smaller government, balanced budgets and reduce the debt.

As a registered Republican I feel George W. Bush ruined the Republican National party. The truth is that core values of the Republicans or the Dems. mean nothing once they are in office and in power. All either party wants is the lobby money and you and I mean NOTHING to them.

Sincerely,

Doug Skeet

Doug,
Would you consider applying for the Super position? You would be great!

To 2:22PM ~~ I don't intend any disrespect to Doug, but given what is already in place to work with (other administration & the BOE) I think the job should be put out for bids. Give it to the lowest bidder and save us a pile of money. It can't get too much worse than where we already are.
