Loszynski To Stay, Help New Chief "Transition"

Loszynski's Investigation Exceeds $630,000 Cost So Far

Town Board Reviewing Candidates For Chief

Original group of 11 whittled down by Selection Committee

"The goal has been to have a candidate in place by the end of the month." ~~ Deputy Town Supervisor Jeff McCann.
STORY

SCATS ~~ WHO is on this "Selection Committee?" Why isn't Loszynski's final report ready yet? Where is Auberger's comments on this? Isn't he getting paid to run this show? "The goal has been..." That's past tense! It's starting to seem like someone is dragging their feet.

This is beyond ridiculous. Loszynski should become a permanent employee. Want to bet he's still here when Rahn goes to trial? We could call him Director in Charge of Scapegoats.

more closed clubby and corrupt practices.

It looks like there will be no public input into the police issue. WE don't even know who the fianlists are.

It's none of your business who they are, 2:08. If you don't believe me, ask Auberger.

Kwik Fill gas station at 2734 Dewey Ave was robbed again last night at around 5:30. Second time in two weeks Bet you won't read about that in the D & C. Two African American Males with a weapon that was held at the cashiers head!!!! Welcome To Greece.

Let's have a new supervisor search

What a bunch of crap. Ceretto dropped out because the background check showed how he likes to beat woman, and how he likes to party just like Rahn. Three of the four candidates that were named in the paper have already been notified that they weren't chosen. Todd Baxter the guy from the city is going to be the next chief and Auggie isn't happy.

Tell us why isn't Auggie happy?

If Baxter is the guy GPD is in for culture shock. Baxter is a real cop with no ties and no baggage and will do the right thing all the time because the right thing is the only thing in his world. He is a street cop who knows his business. The empire builders and brown nosers better get up to speed and fast. Glad to see it if he is the pick. Real cops wear blue and do police work not write traffic tickets.

If this is true regarding Baxter it is great news for the Town of Greece. Agree with 11:08 regarding the Brown Nosing - time to be real - I am sure he will see the true colors of some.

Baxter barely passed the exam. In fact I'm told he was one of the lowest on the list. Baxter beat out guys with years of experience, Urmacher, and guys with years of college education.

Passing an exam does NOT equate to being able to pull off the job. Examples of that are exactly what we have had in the past - high scorers with no common sense, ethics or morals. I, for one, would be happy to see Baxter take the spot. Greece PD is in for a shock if and when that happens.

To 9:17AM ~~ It looks like that will happen at 2PM today ;)
