To Coffee ~~ I just heard that turnout is pretty low, as expected. That's NOT good news.

I voted, straight row B. I'm sorry, but the Democratic slate did nothing to convince me that they would be any different then what we have now, simply a horse of a different color. At least with this administration I know my quality of life issues will continue to be well above par and really that's what is important to me.

5;48 was that a joke is your quality of life all wrapped up in paving, street lights, leaf dumps and snow plowing? Have a good one!

To 5:48PM ~~ IMHO, there is NO ONE MORE BLIND than he who votes a straight party line ticket just because. Recent news tonight is that there was also INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE against former Sgt. Brian Ball ... wait until he sues Greece. His lawyer says he has already scheduled an arbitration hearing for March and he wants his job back. The next case to show insufficient evidence may well be Rahn's. I've said it since the announcement that Rahn was "awarded" a $10K "settlement" ... there's MORE to this story, much more ;)

Will the last person out of Greece please turn off the lights. The Democrats are being crushed tonight. Although Maloney sure is putting a scare into Auberger. Not enough money, not enough organization, not enough feet on the street, not enough public interest in change. The Republicans lied, cheated and bought the election. This is what we have here in Greece. The worst performance in history as a town government and the voters just let them have another 4 years to continue the decline and eventual fall of this town. Time to move on. There are many better places to live.

To 10:36PM ~~ I agree 100%. Excuse me while I go vomit.

The Democrats did not give Maloney barely any $$$ to put into his campaign. HOW COME?!? Voter turnout was the 3rd lowest in about 10 years. An extra 10 grand in real marketing could have gotten 500 more votes from people who didn't! BOOOOOOOOO GDC!

To 10:56PM ~~ I agree. Blowing off Greece in a year plus of scandal upon scandal was a STUPID move. Tonight they are paying for it with Maloney finishing second, though barely. Sad, sad, sad!

Look at who was running the Greece campaigns - plural. None other than big-time assembly loser Dave Garretson, the tax cheat.

He has no political experience, no personality, no reputation, a track record of being one of the biggest losers in the history of an assembly race, and yet he felt compelled to "lead" the Greece Democrats off the same cliff he fell from.

They have no one to blame except for themselves. You are judged by the company you keep. And history will continue to repeat itself unless they dump the loser baggage.
