Who Are "The Concerned Citizens of Greece"?

How many are in this group? How much of a threat to Auberger do they pose? Who is funding them? Where can I send MY check??

Did anyone see today's paper-
page 2A - paid advertisement by "Concerned Citizens for the Town of Greece" Not sure who they are but article says they are Republicans, Democarts and Independents and question why Auberger will not debate Maloney. They claim the voters want to sort fact from fiction and that Auberger declined to a debate in public (WHEC) and that they want the opportunity to use their vote wisely. They claim that if the Supervisor is correct in everything he says he should jump at the chance to prove it. Ends with "Let Democracy rule and may the best canidate win"   10/23/2009 9:09 PM

They are also trying to save the forests:

Seriously -- sign your name or get out of the way chicken ships. It's SO totally lame to put in an ad like that. For all intents and purposes, it's Maloney himself.

I give this one a thumbs down.

To 10:56PM ~~ Are you really that gullible? It's a different group. I'm hearing this group has some Republican backers ... sounds like the next 10 days will be filled with surprises .. for Auberger :)

Everybody knows which Republicans are PO'd at Auberger, and cuddling up to Maloney.

Riddle me this: Will they still love him if he loses?

Anonymous said...

I know the answer to that one! Rhymes with snow...

They need to show Maloney the dough if they are supporting him. Poor guy did not get the financial backing he deserves. Shouldn't be wasting it on ads like that.

Thats the fault of Morelle and his crack staff. Look at the circle that swirls Maloney. If it looks like a toilet, it is a toilet.

WARNING!

I have no idea where this chat is heading ... but it may end up deleted.

To 11:01PM ~~ I don't think anyone really knows ALL of the folks who have had their fill with Auberger. New people make comments that surprise me almost daily. There is a lot of pent up hostility out there.

Well at least it looks like the want to separate church and state in the forests of Greece:

1. To create a separate Environment Ministry for Greece.

Whereas in the Town of Greece:

1. Blur the lines for ministry for the town hall environment of Greece.

Not much different :)

Pope John T. Auberger? I got a pic that shows that!

OK, I bite. Lets see it.

OH SNAP!

SCATS said...

The comment calling someone a "lizard" isn't getting posted ... no matter how often you submit it.

Anonymous said...

I'm a concerned citizen of Greece but I had nothing to do with that!

I deleted three comments. Two for inappropriate content. One cheering it on. I think there was an error because too many comments were coming in at the time I was trying to post. It's all fixed now.

I never saw it and I read the paper today. Sounds like they wasted their money.

The impact of the ad remains to be seen. Sounds like it might catch the attention of other fed up Republicans. If it does, it will have paid for itself.

Anonymous said...

If the ad caused Auberger to take pause for even a minute it was worthwhile. Can you hear the clock ticking, Jack?

crappy graphic appearance.
Not eye catching. We needed one of SCATS spiffy graphic creations. Napoleon T. Auberger was appropirate

On a more serious note. Why not be more direct. Auberger needs to go.

SCATS said...

To 2:41PM ~~ Sorry you don't like the graphic. I'll let my artistic contributor know ;)

PS ~~ Napoleon is still available for viewing ... I may repost him soon.

To 3:28PM ~~ Phew!! I thought you were trying to hurt my e-feelings :)

That picture looks like something from an old bible story book. Very pretty and very funny. Does that make John the Sphinx or a Pharoah?

SCATS said...

To 4:28PM ~~ I kind of think of him as the Sphinx + Jester which makes him the "Sphincter"! LMAO

BLOG Administration has rejected posting a one-line unsubstantiated/unsupported accusation against a named individual.

I thought Dan was all about transparency? Why would people put ads in the paper anonymously without giving their names supporting his campaign?

SCATS said...

To 1:18PM ~~ It happens often in heated campaigns. Dan has no control over private citizens who take out an ad. In this case, I'm hearing it's a group of REPUBLICANS who support Dan.
