Seems like a case of premature legislation syndrome.

Don't they have pills for that now?

That's faster than Chinese take-out.."ten minit".

Has anyone checked out all the other Town websites - example Irondequoit, Parma, Brighton etc - all have their board minutes on line - yet Greece has a "New Web Site" beautiful photo's of the Town but yet try and see the Town Board Minutes - not there - privacy
policy. How odd that is - belive it should be public?????

To 8:17PM ~~ I haven't checked out websites for other towns, but I have seen several really odd things about the new Greece site. I also am aware other people are raising their eyebrows and some questions, too.

I heard the meeting was maybe 25 minutes. But there was a swearing in and some speakers even a nasty one. So probably the actual business part was less than 10 minutes

The state of New York does NOT need any more Democrates. Nor does the county of monroe or the town of Greece.

The better way to spank the Republicans, is to vote for them on the Conservative line. No sence increrasing taxes just to show your displeasure.

To 7:57AM ~~ The Republicans RAISE TAXES TOO. Guess what? If Maggie Brooks needs more money, she can order the towns to reassess. Your taxes WILL GO UP on her order, but it won't show on HER RECORD ;)

So just watch the spending!

Maggie ordering the towns to reassess! New power?

Worth repeating!

Beware of any candidate that says he/she will lower taxes (or tax rates). That's easy, just spend down the reserves; or the hard ways is to increase assessments.

But do watch SPENDING! What is their intent regarding spending and how to do they intend to acomplish that objective? If they ignore the spending question, then ignore them at the polls.

Is that how it really works SCATS? County Executive's hold in legal statute the ability to order an assessment whenever they want and supercede New York State Law which governs the process? So, by that reasoning, a County Executive could order an assessment in January, find out in April that they need more money and order another one for say May? Can they also order that the assessment be an increase for everyone and to ignore and reverse any decrease assessments? Pretty cool.

To 12:16PM ~~ Did you have two helpings of Fruit Loops today?

12:16 Do you believe that if Maggie wants to raise taxes she wouldn't tell her "clubby" chumps in the towns to get 'er done"? She is the queen bee in that field.

Let's face facts here. It's exactly the way the Democrats explained yesterday regarding Brooks' budget. If your tax bill is BIGGER, she raised taxes. It's a simple concept really. It's used often. Too often.

Didn't anyone find it strange that this year Maggie was all about getting that budget ready before elections? It wasn't that long ago that she fought to be able to wait until after election. I bet she calls November 3rd "Self-preservation Day."
